The Sixth Sense (1999)
A new side to horror
The Sixth Sense
The Sixth Sense is a film that is a 'must-watch' Bruce Willis plays his role as a psychologist excellent and aims to help a child that conquers a sixth sense. The film is based in Philadelphia in the 90's and is a mysterious horror film who Dr Malcolm Crowe (Bruce Willis) tries to communicate to Cole who is a young boy who experiences a sixth sense that is differentiating him from normal people causing him to worry his mother.
The film has a sensational plot to it as it keeps you hanging off your seat and wanting to find out what will happen next. This movie keeps the audience thinking about not only what will happen next but why the things happened leaving it up to the audience to put the puzzle of the mystery together. It gives an interaction between the audience and the plot keeping the viewer thinking.
I believe this is a great movie, with a variety of jaw-dropping moments throughout the movie leaving the audience in a world quite different from their own. In this horror the audience can relate to the characters as it gives a relationship to help interact with the movie and feel what is actually going on. There are also some thrilling scenes in 'The Sixth Sense' is quite frightening with some supernatural creatures that are terrifying to see, but still enough to keep watching the movie.
The young boy, Cole, is considered a freak throughout the film and plays the characters role very well making the audience believe he is a freak as well. Cole is the person who experiences the 'Sixth Sense' and this is why Dr Malcolm appears to help him with his issue but Cole denies help. For the rest of the film supernatural experiences happen to the world they both live in and it all becomes a mystery.
I enjoyed this movie, and believe it is an excellent movie for ages 13 years and older. This is a PG 13+ movie and but may be quite complex and misleading so some thought needs to go into what is being watched.
The Watch (2012)
The Watch, The one to watch.
Excellent movie, with four high-profiled celebrities which are super hilarious. I just watched the pre-screening for this movie, I recommend it to teenagers and adults. Its a great laugh the whole way through, not just from myself but many of people in the same cinema.
ITS A MUST WATCH! Vince Vaughn and Ben Stiller play their role in the movie of ordinary suburban extremely well and Jonah Hill is just the funniest character and cracks the funniest one liners the whole way through the movie.
Watch this, you will not be disappointed and supposedly up in the funniest comedies in 2012.
Enjoy.
LOL (2012)
My thoughts on this film? LOL
To begin, my title is not due to this movie being 'funny' its because it is such an embarrassment of a movie and this is a massive downfall of Miley Cryus' career.
Yes, Hannah Monatana was then but she just is not a good actress this is a complete embarrassment and after watching this movie I would recommend it to no one at all other then die-hard Miley Cryus fans which I also believe will be completely embarrassed that they walked into that cinema.
I work at the cinema's and have a fair few people already asking for refund as they did not enjoy watching such a terrible movie.
I recommend this for 12 years or younger. I MEAN NO ONE AT ALL unless your crazy!
Ted (2012)
Dogs are a Man's best friend? NOT ANYMORE!
I loved this movie, just excellent all the way through. I have already heard from many people that they thought it was awful BUT THEY GOT NO SENSE OF HUMOR.
I have to say Ted, is one of the funniest animated characters ever. Mark Walhberg suits the role of his character in this movie extremely well, and Mila Kunis what else can you say other then SUPER GORGEOUS!
The movie has continuous laughs by the audience and mind me, I have watched it 3 times and the audience and myself still find every funny quote and actions funny (besides those people who have no sense of humor).
Considering I have already watched it 3 times and I work at the cinemas i still tend to watch as much as I can and still have a good laugh even though i can predict exactly what happens.
A MUST WATCH MOVIE.
Not recommended for peoples under the age of 15 (EVEN WITH PARENTAL GUIDANCE)due to high use of illicit drugs throughout the movie.
I give this one a 9 out of 10.
ENJOY!
Hamish & Andy's Euro Gap Year (2012)
Hilarious Television Series 'Hamish and Andy's Euro Gap Year
An extremely hilarious television series, with flat out laughs the whole way through with two extremely funny comedians Hamish Blake and Andy Lee. Hamish and Andy go through a journey together through Europe and experience the exciting cultures of the European countries. They go through worst case scenario's together and has out-of-ordinary funny lines. Overall, this television series is amusing and shows you a good taste of the hidden European traditions with a good laugh ranging from the sport of finger pulling, human pyramids, bus pulling and jumping off large bridges to prove your man-hood in a country. Hamish and Andy's Euro Gap Year is another series of 'Hamish and Andy's Gap Year' which was also extraordinarily hilarious and brings good laughs to all ages and families.
The Amazing Spider-Man (2012)
Not so 'Amazing' Spider-Man
In this 'Amazing Spider-Man'there the hype is not as much as it should be to watch this movie. I personally enjoyed it, but it clearly let a lot of people down. Comparing this movie back to the original and the other 2 spider-mans it does not compare at all. In this spider-man everything is so rushed for a quiet long film. Peter Parker is not as nerdy playing character as he should be compared to the other Spider- Man, his played smart but more as a good-looking person which does not really suit the role as much.
In all honesty, the movie did get a little exciting but some part were just so boring. I liked the villain Doctor Lizard and he had a good role in the 'Amazing Spider-Man'.
The outfit of Spider-Man is super cool, and the graphics is obviously better then the original. But the concern that the original is 10 years older then this one and the other had more excitement to it is frustrating.
*spoiler alert*
The way that Peter Parker tells his girlfriend 'Gwen' that he is spider- man is very frustrating and extremely rushed and no twist was given in the movie. I know that it should be a big thrill when Spider-Man tells his girlfriend that his spider-man, but there isn't. The way the the villain finds out that he is spider-man as well is very annoying a baby could of done that.
Overall, this movie is yet my least favorite of the Spider-Man movies and it is not so amazing, I rather recommend it to children more then adults. I give this a 4.
