Whilst the acting and the production value are excellent, it is the subtle piss-taking of almost every cop, vampire, action, and horror movie that truly shines. For me, this goes straight into my top 10 movies.

It is smart comedy done well. The producers know what it is that they are trying to achieve and then they go about it with no fanfare. The fact that it does not take itself so seriously is refreshing. This also allows the cast to really relax and this shows in their performances.

I will be watching this one again some time soon. Its possible that my opinion will change, but I think it will only be to solidify my initial thoughts.

This is one of my all time top rated films. Laugh every time i watch it. I find myself quoting lines from it and I actively introduce people to it. The comedic timing of these guys is second to none and should be the staple of any Comedic Acting Course. I don't know how many times i've watched this movie but it is definitely in my go too box. Without giving anything away its hard not to point out the many specific references contained in the movie. The weird thing is that I usually hate 'musicals' but the musical numbers in this movie are some of the best parts of it. Probably not for everyone, but def for me.

I've just finished watching this. It was interesting to read through the reviews of this Doco. And whilst I can understand and see what the 1/10's were trying to say, the powerful and immediate effect from this film would not be disarmed. The creator's handling of what is one of the weirdest things in the world was delicate and subtle. The palpable shift in the subject's mindset, essentially disarming them, was beautiful. My belief in humanity is pleasantly buoyed, in that there are people who are able to show us the world actually getting better around us.

I will usually give even budget films a fair crack, but this was so stiltingly bad, I couldn't even last 10 minutes. The filming and acting were amateur and formulaic, added to a dead horse story line, I couldn't bear to watch the flogging. It gets 1 star for at least having been completed and published. Unfortunately it will only be appreciated by a very few 'special' people.

I had no preconceptions going into this movie and at the end it almost bought me to tears. The acting, even by innocuous characters like the army buddies, was spot on by every one. The story itself was inspirational and the camera work was flawless. A fantastic re-telling of a great story worth the effort. Intelligent comedy weaved amongst hard to face issues makes this a definite "Excellent" to all my friends.

A bad cult style movie can be seen for what it is. A tongue in cheek action puss-take can also be enjoyed. And usually I will give a film the benefit of the doubt. But this one ? Sorry, I couldn't even make it to the end. It was so full of forced, over played stereo-types trying very hard to be cool the director must have been saying to himself throughout the making - only Trump supporting knuckleheads will be watching this, so I better make the obvious a bit easier to grasp. Why get the main character to keep stumbling around in a made up accent that he has no aptitude for ? Why try to be tough and then do the whole bullets flying everywhere except into the heroes thing, again and again ? This movie is bound for 3 am viewing by lonely stoners who aren't actually watching anything. Sorry but its a firm, No.
