Aynabaji: A syndrome of a new era
21 October 2016
Warning: Spoilers
After many fruitless attempt during the 'Great Frustration of Bangladeshi Cinema'; audience are discouraged from our contemporary promising filmmaker. The cinema was even more worthy for watching before two decades. Whereas, a vast amount of film buff in this country and only a few are fulfilling their expectations. Following the great frustration 'Aynabaji' is a name that actually can be called 'New Hope' for the film-goer in Bangladesh.

A character name 'Sharafat Karim Ayna' changes his character for the imprisonment of himself in exchange of money. He believes that life is a stage and he is a great actor as he is in real. Ayna shifts from his character to other by rehearsing himself with the actual criminal. That part is really mind-blowing every time. 'Saber Hossein' a drunkard reporter who becomes suspicious over Ayna follows him throughout the cinema. He gets angry while drinking for being called 'looser' as his divorce is final and can't make a true report due to political reason. Though, he follows him but Ayna deceiving him every time. However, Saber was relentless for tracking him. Hridi lives next to Aynas home and noticed him while Ayna teaches acting to the children in a yard of a school. Hridi and Ayna fall in love each other. Hridi stays unaware about Ayna until Saber finds out and exposed to her. Ayna kidnapped by a serious political criminal who committed murder. The intensity of this cinema starts rising during the conversation between that murderer and Ayna. I think the best environment and conversation created in the history of Bangladeshi cinema.

Cinematography by Rashed Zaman was stunning. I think this is the first time that wrapped beautifully every corner of Dhaka city. Musical score was astoundingly excellent. The make-up artist hired from India (I didn't find his name on IMDb) can be called 'master' for his brilliant hypnotic performance. There is good color tonality which is drowned with the narrative. Technically it was quite sharp in every sector. Story is beautifully written by Shaon and that is undoubtedly unique. Humorous dialogues made by Anam Biswas are really extraordinary.

Amitabh Reza approaches the notion of pure film-making. His devotion toward cinema was suspicious for me after watching one by one his commercials. He is a renowned director for commercials and TV serial. 'Aynabaji' is his first film which really clarified his dedication on cinema. Amitabh Reza is an indigenous for fulfilling audience's expectations toward him. People can really keep their faith on him before buying tickets. After 'Aynabaji' Amitabh Reza is now a great inspiration for new film-maker. Hopefully, he will continue his journey that he started and having strength for contributing a lot in this country.

Kiaroustami read my mind
21 December 2014
This cinema i am really so much obsessed with. Kiarostami can be called my mind reader. I started watching this cinema i thought this cinema's plot is something else. Half of the cinema i was searching what is the real plot? Inside it was vivid for me that i was hypnotized with Hossein's obsession though. However, i was feeling shy that this is a amateur thought of mine this movie contains something else or something big. I was little bit tensed with their love. In the mean time, Kiarostami started to read my mind. Finally,He started the conversation what i wanted. What inside embedded in me which i was asking to him he pointed it out. He tricked me half of the cinema. Then He won my mind. A non-actress and actor can influence like this to people i never had that idea. Robert Bresson could not do it what Kiarostami did. The cast do pretty well throughout. It is really amazing movie. I am feeling now refreshed and in fact have a deep feeling for Taherah. The last shot is the best master shot i have ever seen. After all that sequence gave me a good lesson. That cinema everywhere are not same. I will probably watch it again and again when i am in a mess state . This cinema is really so crucial for me. A great hard work of Kiarostami. Definitely deserves 10.

Just watched a brilliant cinema from Goergia
18 December 2014
I never watched any Georgian movie before 'Mandariinid'. So first experience was really so convenient and remarkable. This movie leads me to step forward in Georgian cinema crowd.

The tenderness of this movie give peace to the audience. The certainty of this movie contain peace, sympathy, humanity, courtesy, generosity. This cinema is one of the most influencing visionary art of anti war. This cinema has a ability and eligibility to persuade the audience into morality.

A Georgian war cinema where Abkhazia want to depart from Georgia. A story of two enemies who hates each other but deep inside a little humanity grow after they passed some time in a house of a old man 'Ivo' who saved their life. The character Ivo is established as a cue of virtuous. There are another guy who works with the old man who harvest the crops of tangerine.

It is definitely a good anti war movie. The cinematography, music, editing composition was upstanding. Specially, cinematography language was established strongly. 'Zaza Urushadze' i will definitely memorize the name.

Lucky that i watched
15 October 2014
There are many things i want to see which match with myself. Kim ki duk is the only director who actually understand my mind. I should follow him and want to be a director like him.

Generally, most of his film pertains silent periods. Maybe, he believe that the protagonist should talk less, work hard and put effect on the audiences. He makes his film in a simple way, but go through a complex thoughtful tunnel and in the end we see the light or the soul of his film. Basically, there is a part in this movie about 'death' which really i was searching for. He described it in a easy way. A cinema he made as a director, actor, cinematographer, sound recorder like playing every role is just insurmountable. There are many who try to show himself as drama but in real he is not. But kim ki duk tried to make this drama and real came. When he cried in while watching his own cinema (spring,summer.....) It made me share some tears with him. I love this film a lot. Fabulous...!!!

Ray is the Bengali giant of filmmaking
5 September 2014
It is very fundamental to know for all the people who are highly convinced with cinema and the maker that in 1956 there were quite impossible for any guy to make any film like this with grammar in that time in this region. In addition, Ray was also able to clutch his simlest but subtle visualization on that culture and people. The cinematography was mesmerisin. All the shot maintained with grammatically like dolly, close up,crane and nice panning. However, to judge this master art is also kind of humiliation for Ray.The character "Apu" earns some major point of the early Calcutta. For me this cinema is some kind of revealing the truth of relationship of that particular time that I was seeking now.

Best Inspirational Cinema I have ever seen
6 August 2014
When i was only sixteen, my older brother was watching this movie in his room. Though i was not interested but i always follow what my brother does. Then i discover this that a cinema can inspire people that much i never even can imagine. After watching it, my vision over cinema had changed. What a cinema !!!

A man named Forrest gump who is not normal like us and even in his childhood he was cripple. This cinema started like he is different from us. However, he is actually a normal fellow which actually impact on normal people. The things he feels to do, he gave his maximum focus on it. He is not much smarter than normal people but he knows what love is and in the end it really give us a theory on infant love.

As a man like Forrest gump could do his duty which he actually destined to do. Why we people are so much hesitated and convoluted with our work when we are in disappointing situation. We should know the line "Life is a box of chocolate, you never know what you are gonna get"
