Wooden acting. Not scary at all. The backstory, while barely there at all, made no sense. Very predictable. Barely adequate time passer. Very forgettable. You can pass on this one.

Very slow going. Not a lot of action. About half the dialogue was in Italian without subtitles so that didn't help. Why is it when the bad guy is strangling someone, they never see them reaching for a gun? A lot of heavy raspy breathing and blurry photography. Give this a pass.

I had high hopes for this after all the hype. Every single cheap tv series trope is here. The troubled marriage. The angsty teenage daughter. The youngest son having some mysterious connection to everything going on. The two separate communities that resent each other. The cop. The priest. The incredibly annoying genius. And it all amounts to......meh. Actually, every character was incredibly annoying. They took Lost and Wayward Pines, smashed them together and ended up with this.

Poorly written, poorly cast, poorly acted and predictable. Maybe it's greatest sin is that it's simply boring. Has no connection with the original franchise. They make vague mention of the "Saw case", there's really nothing to it. Except the stupid spiral. Skip it.
