Young Sheldon: Memoir (2024)
Season 7, Episode 14
8/10
The End...
17 May 2024
I was never really crazy about this show, never waited for another episode or season, but I watched all of it because it was always good, except for a few episodes after the first one. This episode made me realize that I am not just losing one show but losing my favorite, The Big Bang Theory, again, especially because of the really good guest appearance of older Sheldon and Amy.

I am glad they didn't kill George Sr. Earlier and waited until the very end because he was one of the best characters. The reaction Sheldon gave after finding out his dad is dead was really touching; this actor is superb. Not just him, but the writers did a really good job as the reactions given by others matched their personalities and were not too dramatic or different.

They tried to add some comedy in the 13th episode, but it was tough, and it was noticeable, especially the crying of Sheldon's dad's friend, Wayne. I have seen many Chuck Lorre comedy shows, and I think this finale was better than the finales of his other shows like Mom, Bob Hearts Abishola, The Big Bang Theory, Two and a Half Men, etc. Overall, it was a really good finale, and I hope for some other The Big Bang Theory spinoffs in the future. There is still scope for Young Howard and Old Raj. I am unsure about the Young Sheldon spinoff but will definitely give it a try.

Bob Hearts Abishola: Find Your Bench (2024)
Season 5, Episode 13
5/10
Three minutes of nostalgia saved the finale.
7 May 2024
This season was better than the last, which was quite disappointing. I expected a lot from the finale episode, but it was pretty average and not very humorous. The episode was just about twenty minutes long, with the last few minutes being old memories of the show. It was shocking to see how much weight Bob has lost. Among Chuck Lorre's comedy shows, my favorite finales are, in order: Two and a Half Men, The Big Bang Theory, Mom, and then Bob Hearts Abishola. If the fourth season had been as good as this one, CBS might have given it a few more seasons. Overall, the finale episode is okay. I liked that Abishola came with her original off-screen haircut, Christina's daughter, Tunde's Mario mustache, the bench, etc. But, I didn't like that the episode was quite short, Goodwin's statement to Bob in the end, and Kemi and Chuck's food thing didn't fit well. I'd rate it 2.5/5.

Season 3 Review
2 May 2024
This episode has some really cool moments, but whenever you think it's good, now the old characters are at risk, and they may die but they never do. I mean, what is the point of watching when we know Chucky only kills the side characters or the characters introduced in the new season? He has no interest in killing the old characters; he just laughs when he comes near them, tells them he will kill, and kills the side characters. The show is interesting, but when nothing will ever happen to Chucky or the lead characters, then what's the point of watching it? It's kinda becoming like a sitcom where in the starting and middle they add some interesting things but it always ends on the same happy note; nothing happens. Also, the killings in the White House were shown as if Chucky had entered a normal big mansion in the 80s and was killing people because no matter who he kills, no one will ever think of checking the security cameras or doing anything about it. The last dialogue in this episode by Chucky is good. They should also work on the romantic drama between Jake and Devon; it's so cheesy and cringe. I don't think teenage people nowadays talk like they do. My favorite seasons in order: Season 2, Season 1, and Season 3. Overall, a nice time-pass show where, no matter how cool and violent the serial killer is, he respects the lead characters and never causes them any harm. 3/5.

Heropanti 3
11 April 2024
It took me a lot of time to select the seat while booking the ticket for this movie online, as the best seats were already booked by the producers. When I came to the hall, only 6 people other than me came, and it was the same action drama that we have seen many times in every other Bollywood action movie. I was expecting at least some good action and comedy from Akshay Kumar, but Tiger was doing most of the comedy, and his jokes were like, you're looking at me as if you're trying to right swipe with your eyes,...etc. I know Tiger's body is good, but that doesn't mean he has to wear a sleeveless vest in every other scene and in all of his movies. But why ? Audiences focus more on the actor's acting than their body. Also, the action scenes in the trailer looked really good, but in the movie it didn't work as without an interesting story, it's hard to even focus on the action when every other scene is nonsense. Overall, I will give this 1/5. Skip it.

First episode review!
5 April 2024
Warning: Spoilers
Positives:
  • The concept is good. Although the first episode is long, it didn't feel too slow or boring.

  • The lead character, the actress, is likable and makes you want to root for her survival.

Negatives:
  • The episodes are 45 minutes or longer, with the first episode lasting 1 hour.

  • Other than the lead character, there wasn't any character that I liked that much.

  • I thought it would be as cool and amazing as "All of Us Are Dead," but it's not that engaging.

  • The way they were talking about the parasite in the ending meeting of the first episode, the man who became a parasite at the start, and no one except the lead character reacted before it starts attacking, the parasite writing in the diary ( I mean really?), these things looked like a joke or lazy writing.

  • After almost every few minutes, a new lead or side character is introduced, which could confuse the viewer.

  • There are not even a few characters to root for, no romantic tension, no good action scenes, and the first episode didn't even end with a cliffhanger or something.

Overall, the first episode was average but for someone who hasn't watched many shows may even like this episode, to me, it was 2.25/5. Just because there are only 6 episodes and the lead character is likeable, I might complete it someday. It's not a bad show (based on the 1st episode); you can definitely give it a shot.

Awesome ending
17 March 2024
This episode was the best one in this season; the ending was really engaging, and the last scene was so awesome. They have no option but to renew this show now because the characters, the story, everything is going fine. There are some scenes that don't make sense, but it's always entertaining. I think instead of 8 episodes a year, they should release 8 seasons a year if the producers have that superpower or something. Maybe the first season was better, but anyways, couldn't wait for another season. Renew and release it soon, please. Or hire the lead actress of this in more comedy shows. Must watch !!

A Christmas Gift to the audience!
26 December 2023
This episode had some really good moments, a feel-good vibe, and a nice ending. However, it wasn't perfect due to avoidable problems, like the shadow of the ghost in the video camera and the ghosts visible in the mirrors hanging in the house. The baby woke up when ghosts sang to her. It's puzzling why other ghosts didn't disappear after one went to the afterlife, even after many years. Also, the finale should have focused only on the main lead characters of the show, instead of bringing in Mike's mom, even though she performed well. I don't know why these issues were there-perhaps slightly lazy writing or direction? Anyway, it's always fun to see Charlotte Ritchie and other characters.

The characters in this show were so good that I'm unable to watch the American version, not getting used to the actors in that show.

Overall, a nice Christmas episode with some small issues, but many, including me, will miss the show.

Extended Nonsense!
24 December 2023
Just because I liked Jon's character in "Two and a Half Men," I was excited to watch this show and had been waiting for it. Although I didn't like the trailer, I still thought maybe Jon Cryer would make it watchable, but he couldn't.

Positives: Jon Cryer is trying a lot to be funny, and sometimes it works. Even the Julia character is good, and the starting dialogues, along with the reverse wedding thing, were fine.

Negatives: I didn't like Trey's character, as he is one of the leads, so they should have created a better character and done casting accordingly. Also, I don't understand why they chose both male lead characters to be bald. Not that I have a problem with bald people, but I'm confused about this type of casting choice.

In the first episode, Jon's character, Jim, said many times that "I am joking," and the laughter track was going on nonstop, yet nothing was funny. They made the entire first episode on the goldfish. Also, this talking to the audience and telling us how fun and awesome divorce is was stupid; they should have just let us watch the show rather than providing commentary and character interviews.

When I came to know about the story of this show, it felt somewhat similar to "Splitting Up Together," and I must say that show is way better than this one. If you haven't watched that show, try it; you will love Season 1, especially. Even if this show was released in the '90s, I don't think it would have worked. I am skipping it.

Slowaar part 1
22 December 2023
After the big success of KGF, I had high hopes for this movie. I went to the morning show and was surprised at how long and boring it turned out to be. First, bring a torch because the movie is quite dark. Second, you don't need to bring your brain as every action scene is nonsensical. The lead actor beats others who then fly and bounce on the floor after getting hit. The first half has a lot of buildup about Deva, creating frustration before Prabhas's entry. The second half is incredibly boring with too many forgettable characters, making it hard to sit through in the theater. Overall, it's a three-hour-long, boring, slow-paced film with bad and funny Hindi dubbing. Avoid it. Skip it.

Roz deserved a way better episode!
7 December 2023
I was really excited for this episode because of three things: it's a season finale, it's Christmas-themed, and most importantly, there is a guest appearance by Roz Doyle. Although the episode was fine, they really need to reduce the laughter track; there are far too many, and it's annoying when the scene is not funny. Also, there should be some good side characters and a funny recurring character. Now, the main cast looks better than it was in the beginning, and Alan is the best new addition to this Frasier universe. Anyways, talking about this episode, they really wasted Roz. She looked great, and her dialogue delivery was still super awesome, but she came almost at the end with very few dialogues. Those watching for Roz would be highly disappointed. Roz shouldn't have even been in this episode; she deserved way more respect and screen time. It was one of the worst guest appearances of a really good actor, and it wasn't her fault. I hope they still renew this show, bring in Niles and others, but give them some respect in their guest appearance role.

Too long!!
1 December 2023
After the long wait, my friends and I went to the morning show of this movie, and the theater was packed. I was excited to watch it because I liked the trailer, but despite the interesting first half and a great scene before intermission, the entire cast started doing nonsensical things after the break. It seemed like the director instructed them to do anything imaginable to bore the audience until the climax scene, which was somewhat good. Despite the cast's performances, I found this movie extremely skippable. Rashmika was improving, Bobby Deol deserved more screen time, and Ranbir Kapoor's performance deserved a better film. Overall, it's not worth your time. While the background music makes it somewhat watchable, I still recommend skipping it. You might as well go to the zoo and watch a real animal; you'll be done in 1-2 hours, rather than spending more than almost 3 hours and 30 minutes watching this unnecessarily violent, misogynist, low on story cheap adult film with mediocre action and far too many nonsense scenes.

Boooring!!
1 December 2023
I couldn't watch it for more than 5 minutes because even the initial 5 minutes felt like they started without any buildup. They were talking to clients and family without mentioning the point behind it. It was like walking into a call center where a guy is picking up calls repeatedly from different people, and with so many TV show options, I'll skip it for now. Too dull and boring for me. I like Chuck Lorre shows, but I don't think this one is for me as the characters are not likable, the show feel is not good. It's more like a gangster comedy drama, so I don't think I will be able to watch the full episode anytime soon.

Cheap Karan!
23 November 2023
I have watched all five episodes, and so far, the first was the best. This, second and the fourth were fine, but the third was the worst because Sara was too rude and annoying after the rapid fire. In this episode, both the quiz and rapid fire were fun to watch. Both did really well in the rapid fire round. The only bad thing in the quiz round was Karan Johar being cheap. Even though both performed really well and deserved a gift each, Karan decided not to give anyone, stating it is too expensive, and he will keep it. Also it was revealed that Karan doesn't even pay or give anything to the live audience judging the rapid fire round. He says he loves both of them and Alia, but he would rather take the gift than give it to any of them.

Boring!
22 November 2023
I've been waiting for this show for a long time, as they promoted it by saying they'd be hiring ordinary people to play, but it feels like they've hired models instead. Good-looking people are winning games, while others are just waiting to lose. I mean, who wants to watch Squid Game without guns and violence. The players in the show are cooking, sweeping, and having the most fun, making the hour-long episodes too boring to watch. What they should have done is hire some known celebs to play these games and the episode length should have been 30 minutes. Then, the show would have been watchable, as this one feels like watching a Big Brother episode. Other than the big house and nominations, they are role-playing a Korean hit show. Skip it!

One time watch
29 October 2023
The South Park creators seem to be from another universe because they are the only ones consistently working hard to produce new, fun, and creative episodes and movies. This film is enjoyable to watch. Some of my friends have mentioned the increasing diversity in shows these days, and I'm glad they addressed it. Initially, I thought this movie might be split into two parts, but based on the ending, I don't think it will be. It may not be better than the previous South Park movies, but it's still entertaining to watch. I hope they release another movie or season this year. It's a one-time watch! Stream it!

Heropanti 3 in future setup!
20 October 2023
Just like all of Tiger Shroff's movies, he is doing the same nonsense kicking action. They had already shown all the predictable storyline of this same old style Tiger Shroff movie in the trailer, but I still went to the movie theatre to waste my money and time. After somehow watching or tolerating the movie, I am confused if the first half was worse, the second half, or if both were equally terrible. The VFX was so bad that it didn't look like the future. There was no build-up of what is happening and why, and one nonsense scene led to another, with Tiger becoming Ganpath and showing all his action moves that he has already shown in 11 years. Kriti looked good. Overall, skip this movie!

Renew this show for Season 2
12 October 2023
Now that I've seen all the episodes, here's my updated review:

Positives: 1. Frasier (Kelsey Grammer) is still enjoyable to watch. Besides him, Alan's character is really good, and as you continue watching, you'll start liking other main characters, though the side characters still need improvement.

2. The setting in Boston adds excitement as the Cheers cast may appear sooner or later.

Negatives: 1. Lilith's guest appearance episode was good, but in the final episode with Roz, they treated her like a small actor, not giving enough screen time, which was really sad.

2. The best thing about Cheers and the original Frasier was the romantic tension between Sam and Diane, and Niles and Daphne. In this show, they're trying to do something similar with Eve and Freddy, but it won't be that great.

3. The starting few episodes, especially the second one, are not good. It was almost unwatchable; the repeated laughter track and hooting, even when nothing is funny, were really annoying.

Despite the disappointing start, and my initial desire to skip this show after the first two episodes, I decided to give it another chance because "Cheers" is one of my all-time favorite shows, and the original "Frasier" is as well. So, having watched all the episodes, this show started improving after the fifth episode. Despite a few bad episodes and excessive laughter track usage, it still has potential and could really improve in the future. If it gets renewed for a second season, they must find better writers, increase guest appearances, and rework the entire theme and setup.

Could have worked as a season finale.
9 October 2023
This episode felt more like a season finale than a series finale. I really don't know who the curly-haired guy was who was crying in the episode; he appeared in an early episode as well. The perfect ending would have been the disappearance of all the ghosts, but did they do that? You have to see for yourself; maybe they didn't make it like a series finale because the Christmas special will be coming this year. Overall, this season could have been way better if they fast-forwarded it to 10-20 years later to show the growth of the characters and the disappearance. Instead, they made it all so predictable with effortless storytelling. This season is still good but not better than the last four seasons. I would love to see Charlotte Ritchie in some other show too; she's awesome.

Season 3 review
6 June 2023
It took me a week to finally complete this season, and I must say, it was extremely difficult. Surprisingly, the last episode was one of the worst episodes of this series. I think they intentionally made it bad, perhaps to prompt Netflix to cancel the show. While the sketches were generally good in almost every episode, they lacked humor. No sketch was ended properly. Whenever they ran out of bad jokes, they would conclude the sketch without a proper ending. Despite the episodes being only 15 minutes long, I found myself fast-forwarding through them numerous times as they were incredibly boring and hard to watch. "Don't talk about the kids" sketch was the best of this season. Overall, Season 1 is the best, and Season 3 is the worst. I recommend skipping it.

I Think You Should Leave Us Alone Tim
30 May 2023
The first episode was below average. If it were a 90s or 80s show, I would have still tolerated those funny faces and high-pitched noises. However, this type of comedy doesn't work in 2023. The jokes were not funny, and although the sketches were still watchable, only 2-3 jokes were actually funny in the entire episode. The first season of this show was the best, the second was average, and I feel the third would be even worse. It's really sad that the creators couldn't even make six super funny episodes of just 15 minutes duration in an entire year. Although the episode was only 15 minutes long, it felt like a 30-minute episode. Overall, if you have nothing to do, it is still a watchable timepass show. I would still watch the remaining episodes with zero expectations in the coming days.

Worth Your Time!
26 May 2023
I just finished watching all the episodes, so here's my updated review. At first, I didn't like the actors in this show, especially Seth Rogen as Will. But after watching everything, I think this show could become really great in the future. I haven't seen this kind of romantic tension in a while, and I'm happy they renewed it for Season 2. Both main characters, especially Sylvia, are amazing. The final episode and the flashbacks of good moments between Will and Sylvia were lovely. This show will probably last for three seasons or more; they just need to improve the side characters because it's sometimes tough to watch when Sylvia and Will are not together.

Overall, it's a good, light comedy show with nice conversations and great romantic tension. I recommend it!

Dead Adaption!
24 May 2023
I loved the original "Dead Pixels" British comedy show, and that show was really fun to watch with an amazing cast like Charlotte Richie. So, I decided to give this show a chance, but it was super boring with annoying male characters with poor comedy timing. It was torture to watch this show; I couldn't even watch it for more than 10 minutes. They have removed all the good parts of the original comedy show and replaced them with boring scenes and annoying characters. I would request everyone to skip this show and watch the original show as that was amazing, and you will be able to watch two seasons of it rather than one season of this lame comedy show.

Disappointing Season
23 May 2023
Bob Hearts Abishola Season 4 Review

Positives: The episodes are short, and the cast is still doing well. Bob looks nice as a thin man.

Negatives: This is the worst season of this show. There is literally no storyline going on this season. Why would the audience care if Bob bought socks from another manufacturer or opened his own manufacturing department? They have made an entire season just about this. There are so many unnecessary characters, and some have only one or two dialogues in the entire episode. I don't know what Abishola's mother is doing in this show, and Bob's brother has no role either. There is no romantic tension going on, and there is only 4-5 minutes of comedy in the entire episode. They should change the genre of this show from comedy to drama because there is literally nothing funny. Just because the actress playing Kemi is the creator of this show, she is getting more scenes and sometimes full episodes focusing on her character and even funnier one-liners. As CBS canceled two of Chuck Lorre's shows, "United States of Al" and "B Positive," they don't want to make Chuck Lorre more angry, which is why they are not canceling this show. Chuck Lorre has already started making new shows on HBO. United States of Al was a better show than this.

Overall, this was a disappointing season. I really hope the fifth one will be better, funnier, or the last season of this.

Season 6 Review:
19 May 2023
Warning: Spoilers
Positive: I like tornado episodes in which everything is falling apart, and the friends and family members are helping each other.

I have been waiting for many seasons for Sheldon's father to finally cheat on his wife and eventually die, like the stories older Sheldon told us about. Given how this episode ended, it gives him the path to do all that.

Every side character's story is still awesome, and Sheldon is as annoying as he should be.

Mandy is a good addition to this show, and I like her chemistry with Georgie.

Negative: Since the show was renewed for season 7 even before the first episode of season 5, the story is progressing very slowly as they know it can't be cancelled. That is the reason Missy is doing the same thing again and again.

There was no Jim Parsons voiceover in the last episode. Some people are saying that his voiceover is unnecessary for this show, but I still think it's fun to hear his voice.

Season 3 Review
15 May 2023
"The Great" Season 3 Review:

Positive: There were more shocking deaths, twists and turns than in seasons 1 and 2. Elle was super cool in the season finale, especially the ending. It's definitely binge-worthy, and I am glad that they released all the episodes on the same day. Even in its third season, it still feels like the creators are overflowing with stories, with too much to tell, and not a single second of this show feels stretched. Nicholas is amazing as always. He played the role of Pugachev so well that I was once confused if it was really Nicholas or another actor. Also, I loved the three gun-luck check scenes. The ex-Sweden emperor (who reminds me a bit of Peter), his wife, and Maxim are really great additions to the show.

Negative: This season is not better than Seasons 1 and 2, but for Elle Fanning, it is. The ending of the 6th episode was really shocking, and it will be hard for me to watch season 4 because of that. But I don't blame the creators because they made it look so real that I kind of believe it. Episode 7 felt a bit boring because of too much mourning. Did the creators forget to mention Orlo after that scene?

Overall, this show is still great, and it's super hard not to binge-watch it. I have watched so many shows, and "The Great" is still in my top 10. Huzzah!
