What happened?
25 August 2022
I have been a fan of pretty much anything AHS since the first season of the original show and have faithfully watched all the spin offs, however this show is tragic in the worst of ways. It reads like a bad horror movie in the aspect that it's so bad it's funny. Laughable. Half hearted acting and terrible plot lines and the feeling of disbelief at the end of each episode that this actually got produced and people were paid for this crap sandwich. In fairness, the first episode wasn't completely terrible which is why this got a 2 star instead of 1 star. Watch if you dare but I doubt you'll make it past the milkmaids episode bc you'll be so pissed off you wasted hours of your life watching this drivel.

Don't Overthink This One... Just Have Fun With It!
9 April 2014
Alright, another Hulu Original Series that is surprisingly fun! The show centers around Kevin Pacalioglu, (played by Tyler Labine- if you have seen any of his previous stuff and enjoyed it, you will love this show) a typical man-child who's broke and spends what money he does have on weed and snacks. The thing that makes him different is his ability to see dead people and help their spirits pass on to the next realm. The catch is these ghosts have some pretty interesting and crazy requests that put Kevin in some outlandish and humorous situations. This show is entertaining, original, smart, and (bonus!) crass. I would highly recommend giving it a chance if you enjoy his type of humor :)

Seriously "Amazing"
7 July 2013
Whoo-hoo! The Amazing Race is a fast paced, challenge driven, trek that spans the globe! It starts out with thirteen teams of two, and whatever team arrives last at the check point at the end of the episode is eliminated. There have been over 20 seasons of the show so far, so I would venture to guess it's been pretty successful :) I usually find myself picking a couple of favorite teams and on occasion will be sitting there yelling at the screen, "Go! Oh god, don't let them beat you!" There may be an expletive thrown in there if some team I've deemed to be jerks suddenly pulls ahead. Buuuuut, that's the best part; you get to see these teams go through ups and downs and you imagine how tired and insane you would feel flying from continent to continent, being put into physical challenges like bungee jumping, rappelling, hang gliding, miles and miles of hiking, and that's just the tip of the ice-burg. It seems like the true character of these individuals comes out, some impress you, some disgust you. It's all just part of The Race.

Whodunnit? (2013)

Guilty Pleasure Fun!
7 July 2013
Whodunnit is such fun to watch! It's a Reality Clue-like murder mystery show in which a different "detective/guest" gets "murdered" on every new episode. It's up to the remaining contestants to solve how the "murder" took place. They split up and choose one of three places to help them solve the crime. They choose between "Last known whereabouts", "The scene of the crime", and "The morgue" to gather information and discover clues. Since each contestant can only visit one place, everyone is relying on the others to share information. This is where it gets tricky: you don't want to give away all of the information you have, but you need information from the other contestants. People tend to fudge things a little at this point. After everyone tries to dig information out of each other, they have to individually present their "case" to a camera in a room by themselves. The contestants that do well with solving the crime are presented with a card that says, "Safe". Those that don't do so well are presented with a card that says, "Scared". Those with a "Scared" card are eligible to be eliminated in a (fake) but gruesome way which creates the next crime to be solved. I cannot stress enough that this is a guilty pleasure show, don't take it too seriously, relax and just enjoy it!

Forever Young (2013)

Great show that bridges the gap!
20 May 2013
I wasn't expecting much when I started the first episode of Forever Young. Maybe it was because it was on TV Land I thought it might be corny or outdated. I am so glad I was wrong!!

I have laughed, I have cried. The show is both humorous and touching, and the best part is the relationships that develop with this group of strangers. Yes, some are old, some are young, but the point is that we are all human, and love and compassion are greater than the age gap in this group.

I don't want to ruin anything in my review, but I would highly recommend this!
