I haven't seen many Russian movies, but those I have seen I've thoroughly enjoyed, and this was no exception. The plot is steady but carries you along with it as the story unfolds; and the CGI is pretty damn good. Great Sunday afternoon watch

Was looking for something to wile away an evening and this, Bumblebee's back story, fit the bill. Action, feels and laugh out loud moments - Bumblebee's definitely not a fan of the Smiths - made my evening. The damn fine 80s sound track was the icing on the cake

But it's a pretty decent B movie. Yes the script is cheesy, the effects are a little naff but it's a bit of fun. My favourite bit was the use of duct tape on the aliens' spacesuits. Proof that duct tape is truly universal!

Monster B movies are my guilty pleasure and this didn't disappoint. Basic special effects, clunky puppet beavers, clichéd characters and groan-worthy beaver jokes - I laughed, I gasped, this was time well spent. If you're going to watch this, please don't attempt to take it seriously!
