Hoarders: Sherry (2020)
horrible people
Poor Lauren. Run far away from these people. You owe them nothing. I hope you have a family of your own or close friends who can be a family to you.
I can't imagine Sherry or her son ever being fixed. 5 years from now, if they haven't lost the house, they will be back to where they were. They give West Virginians a bad name.
Bridgerton (2020)
I love this period piece
I always wonder why a series or movie has either 1,2, or 3 ratings or 7, 8, 9, or 10 unless there is a group of people with some irrational bent for or against a show. This is fiction so people getting bent out of shape about color blind casting seems irrational.
There is a huge cast with many stories to tell of romance and intrigue. This actually is my favorite Shondaland show. I'm bingeing the first season and look forward to future seasons. The series has also encouraged me to buy the books by Julia Quinn.
Him-ssen yeo-ja Do Bong-soon (2017)
I loved it
Laughs, romance, danger. It was a great show from beginning to end. The main actress is always endearing and funny. She was great in Oh My Ghostess as well.
Ibeon Saengeun Cheoeumira (2017)
I love it
It's very funny and sad. Short synopsis: a woman is 30ish and has never been in love or had a boyfriend. She has 2 friends, one in a long term relationship who wants to marry and the other has superficial sexual relationships and does not want to marry as she tries to achieve success in the business world. Our protagonist needs to find a place to live and encounters a great housing situation but she and the landlord don't meet until after they both become comfortable with situation. He is male. She moves out then back in and a marriage of convenience is formed. The actors and their characters are wonderful with heartfelt performances. It is "slow" but why can't a story develop slowly?
Wei wei yi xiao hen qing cheng (2016)
OK but 30 episode series is much better
I saw the series first and i really like it. The shorter movie has some plot holes and glosses over the story. I like both sets of actors but I prefer the series. The movie has a more realistic set and the series has a more romatic and stylized set. Watch the movie first. Both are on Netflix (07/2019) with subtitles.
Robin Hood (2018)
See any other version
I don't agree that it was a remake. Someone tried to to make something new but failed miserably. The writers used a familiar story and filled this movie with anachronisms and political themes. It could've been a better movie, maybe?
