Wizards of Waverly Place: Fashion Week (2009)
This was the last straw!
I decided to watch the show since I used to love this show growing up, I slowly began to realize how dumb a lot of these characters are. But most importantly, how narcissistic Alex (Selena Gomez's character) is. Especially in this episode. She first decides to flip the food Jake (David Henrie's character) was holding on him and expected no retaliation. He of couse retaliates by hugging her (smudging her and the clothes she's wearing) with the food. She was trying out clothes that her friend Harper (Jennifer Stone's character) entrusted to her (being given to Harper by her fashion designer boss). Instead of apologizing and trying to do something about it, decides to just tell her friend to move on and forget about it since that's what she's going to do. And when Harper finds a hard-time trying to forget about the incident and 'move on', Alex gets annoyed at her, Like wtf. I couldn't handle how narcissistic her character is and always will be in the show (she's supposed to be the main character and learn from her mistakes but just never learns). That was the last straw for me.
Concrete Cowboy (2020)
Weak chemistry and character build up, but watchable
The script seemed very lackluster with not enough character depth explored to really feel connected to the characters, there was a lot left to be desired in that regard. Not to mean that the movie is unwatchable.
One Night in Miami... (2020)
Good enjoyable movie, but...
I really liked the movie, from the dialogue to the cinematography and directing. I think we just need to remember that this a fictional account on historic events. So take this movie with a grain of salt as it is drawn with the director's own views and beliefs rather than the actual beliefs of the people involved.
Bobby Robson: More Than a Manager (2018)
An inspirational man both in the sport and beyond
Sir Bobby Robson was a real fighter and a real inspiration to sports and to humanity. The movie was great. Real in depth interviews with some of the world's current and past time elites in football. By the end of the movie I was barely able to hold in my emotions and had to fight back the tears.
What a man and what a legacy! A must watch for any football fan and an amazing documentary that anyone can watch and enjoy. RIP Sir Bobby Robson. You will be missed.
