Three Thousand Years of Longing (2022)
I enjoy the first hour but not the last 30 minutes
I think the stories told (flashbacks) are really interesting, I enjoy the historical and fantasy elements of them. The first hour I was enthralled waiting for another story.
Once we move on to the woman's wishes it gets pretty dull. At no point did I ever really care about the main story.
After the last flashback (the genius woman who invents things) feel free to just turn off the movie there, it doesn't get any more interesting.
I really don't have much more to say but IMDb forces reviewers to write 600 characters. There's not many good movies in theaters right now so if you are trying to figure out which one to go to this isn't an awful choice.
First Things First (2017)
Got the cast right
The show was a bit of a mess in the past but it's cast now with Broussard, Nick Wright & Kevin Wildes has great chemistry & is very entertaining. I just wish they would actually film in a physical location together instead of over zoom or whatever they use.
Big Mouth: A Very Big Mouth Christmas (2021)
Tough to watch
There are some good jokes but definitely the worst episode of the season. It's like theyre copying the Simpsons Halloween style but without any good stories. Hope they don't make another like this.
The Plot Against America (2020)
Okay, but very slow
Decent show but it moves at the pace of molasses I'm dead bored.
Daybreak (2019)
Hard to watch
Good idea but the acting is really bad, the writing is corny (old people trying to write like young people but end up sounding very cringy) and its not very funny. I guess if you're 13 you might like it but as a 20 year old (close to their intended audience?) I found it stupid despite liking the concept of the show.
Project X (2012)
Litty
Yo if you're older than 20, why the f– are you even looking at this movie? If you're not this sh*t is lit and an inspiration to future parties in America. 10/10 most inspirational movie I've ever seen. It's basically just an orgasm of sex, drinking, drugs, crazy sh*t, a sh*tty attempt at a romantic plot but who cares about that it takes up like 5 minutes, and a lit party you wish you went to but do not wish you hosted.
Steve Jobs (2015)
Constantly Bashes Steve Jobs with a terrible unrealistic plot
This entire movie bashes Steve Jobs throughout and makes it look like he is entirely useless to Apple (so why did they almost go out of business when they fired him?). It's focus on his daughter is loose and doesn't make much sense, his talks with the other characters are just two people bashing each other throughout. If you want to see people argue for 2 hours and Steve Jobs be a d!ck to everyone this is your movie. If you care about any factuality (these talks never happened, it's all made up) then this is the wrong movie to see. Thank you, Hollywood, for another sh*tty Steve Jobs movie. It makes sense this movie is doing so badly because it's just nonfactual and a terrible movie.
