Spy (2015)
Surprising and enjoyable
I like Jason Statham which is why I wanted to watch it, however he had a rather small part in the movie. However I was really surprised with Melissa McCarthy, she is actually pretty funny and I enjoyed her performance in this movie. There are some laugh out loud moments in this movie. In addition they had a pretty good supporting cast as well that made this movie quite enjoyable. Well done to everybody, thank you for the laughs. I hope that Melissa McCarthy continues to do more comedies like this she certainly has a talent for it. This is a good Saturday night popcorn movie with a significant other type film.
You People (2023)
I thought it was good
A surprising movie, I thought it was going to be more Eddie Murphy but he was just in a supporting role. The subject matter was real as far as the premise in modern day America. There are many cultural differences in this country and some can bridge the gap and others can't. It's just what we are comfortable with and what we are willing to accept. I appreciated the honesty between the clueless and trying and the outright hatred displayed by both sides. It was true and reflects the realism of stepping into each other worlds and trying to navigate unfamiliar territory for the sake of their children. Well done movie in my opinion.
Man vs Bee (2022)
Pure enjoyment
This is just a wonderful little movie, classic Bean. No politics, no agenda, just very entertaining from start to finish. Rowan Atkinson is just a joy to watch as he takes a simple task and turns it into sheer bedlam. He has been doing this kind of comedy for decades and he is simply brilliant at it. It is a joy to laugh out loud at his antics as he plows through one debacle after another. Thank you Mr. Atkinson, please keep doing what your doing for as long as you can keep doing it.
Obi-Wan Kenobi (2022)
Serious garbage of epic proportions
This is simply horrible, unbelievable, unwatchable garbage on a grand scale. I'm in shock at how truly bad this is. I have nothing good to say at all about this. Where do I begin? Well lets start with Leia and her apparent ability to outrun adults, whether its 3 adult kidnappers or a supposed formerly powerful Jedi she seems to have the moves to pull it off all the while she looks like she's wearing huggies that are full, really? How bout those inquisitors? That lead one reminds of a bad Count Scary impersonation from the 80's and what's up with Reva? Just pissed off about who knows what and who really cares, coupled with that laughable parkour mess was pathetic, truly embarrassing to watch. Ewan McGregor, is just a sad sad mess from the get. Not a great actor to begin with but come on Ewan have some self dignity man, your 51 I get it your going through a mid-life crisis but the world needs ditch diggers to and it would be a far better fate than continuing with this tragedy your involved in. You don't have to live like this there is help available. Disney seriously consider ending this embarrassment, use the force to cram this abortion down the toilet and pretend it never happened. Just an awful dumpster fire.
Bill & Ted Face the Music (2020)
Serious garbage, absolutely trash
I already wasted an hour and a half of my life on this embarrassment so I shall be brief. Keeanu should be ashamed of himself to even have agreed to do this film. Honestly does he really need the money that bad? Pure and utter garbage not worth your time. It was painful to watch and cringe worthy at best. The person who gave this the go ahead should be fired and flogged and that's being kind. A better use of that time machine would have been to go back and stop this from ever being made in the first place.
Monsters of Man (2020)
Great movie, hits close to home
I'm not sure why this film received such low ratings it's rather good. The story is completely plausible for this age. Robotic technology has made leap and bounds in recent years and it wont be long before this could become reality. It's not beyond the realm of possibility with the birth of A. I. that this is a very good glimpse of the future. Governments around the globe are developing new tech at a rapid pace and as corrupt as most of them are this is not a far stretch for one to imagine. The acting in it was also good as far as the reactions to the situation and it was a rather brutal film as far as the violence was concerned. It was a bit long and could have used some trimming but that is really I can say as far as negatives go. All in all a good movie and I would say a lot better than the politically correct films that Hollyweird continues to try to ram down our throats.
Mechanic: Resurrection (2016)
This one missed the mark for me
I am a Jason Statham fan, however this sequel missed the mark for me. Of course sequels rarely do better than the originals a lesson I wish Hollyweird would learn. This movie seemed to try and pack way to much in a short time frame. It's the classic tale of boy meets girl falls for girl and the bad guy kidnaps said girl and blackmails the hero to do his evil bidding. As boring as that narrative is sometimes it can work. This was not one of those times. To be fair a Jason Statham movie comes with certain expectations of action and more action, however this was so over the top it was utter nonsense and by the end of the film I found myself looking to see how much time was left, a very bad sign. All in all a disappointing film that in my opinion should not have been made. Jason Statham is good for one action movie and then move on to the next project. I was hoping that he would have learned this from The Transporter, Crank and the Expendables. All good action flicks but forget the sequels. Greed unfortunately ruins franchises and I for one grow tired of these half hearted attempts at recapturing the momentum of the originals, just leave well enough alone and move on.
Jack Reacher (2012)
Typical, uninspired, boring, perdictable crap

Killing Gunther (2017)
Horrible Horrible Horrible.............did I say it was horrible

A complete an utter waste of time. Arnold if your reading this all I can say man is........Apologize for this mess you owe us that much.
