Call Me Kat (2021)
Promising Start
I've seen the first 3 episodes. I like the show alot. The jokes didn't always land the characters and plot were funny. Definitely give this show a chance. It's different
Friendsgiving (2020)
Funny Relaxing Film
Great Watch. I saw this before my Thanksgiving with family and it put me in a great holiday mood. Cute indie flick. This movie doesn't take itself too seriously. I enjoyed the acting here
The Christmas Chronicles: Part Two (2020)
Great film
A fine and funny holiday movie. Didn't seem as long as the first one, but still enjoyable. I'm surprised at all the negative reviews.
FBI: Liar's Poker (2020)
Fine Episode. Nothing Too Exciting
This episode was ok. The plot should have been engaging but something about the writing didn't pull me in. The finger was itching to press the fast forward button. I unfortunately think this season will be the last. CBS might renew this show for a fourth season, but I don't think they should. Every episode gets worse.
Selena: The Series (2020)
Good Part 1
Part 1 focuses more on the family as a whole not really Selena. The last episode ended before 1992 so part 2 will show an older Selena and more of her success. Christian Serratos did a good job as Selena and did what she could with a weak script. This show isn't trying to compare itself to the movie. Selena's real life sister was an executive producer on this show.
USS Christmas (2020)
Good Movie
Great Holiday Movie. I found it a little strange that the main character who was a reporter only wanted to do fluff/soft news stories. Heartwarming news pieces don't win you those awards. The chemistry between the leads could have been better.
Christmas Waltz (2020)
Great Movie
One of the better Holiday Hallmark Movies this year. Lacey Chabert and Will Kemp have great chemistry throughout. This is their 2nd movie together and I hope they do more. The movie ended a little abruptly. It needed one last scene to wrap up everything. Overall a good film that will be added to my Christmas Film Rotation. Watch the movie for yourself and then form an opinion.
Spinning Out (2020)
Great show
A very funny and moving series. The writing and character development is tight. It's unfortunate Netflix did not renew this show for season 2 but I'm not surprised. Netflix is more about quantity vs quality these days. Still th it s show is a great 1 season limited series. That has a great ending.
The Craft: Legacy (2020)
Great movie
I really enjoyed this movie. It wasn't that bad. The characters were funny and the movie had an important message. Wasn't as good as the original, but I don't think it was trying to be. Watch this movie for yourself and make your own opinion
Connecting... (2020)
Good Show
Interesting take on the 2020 pandemic. This show isn't that bad. It's cute and funny.
Custody (2007)
Great Movie.
Since 2007, I watch this movie every year during Thanksgiving (in the USA). The plot and characters are very well done. A warm and touching story about family.
The High Note (2020)
Great Movie
Easy Entertainment. This movie doesn't take itself too seriously. Some characters needed to be fleshed out a little more. Overall good story
Too Hot to Handle (2020)
Terrible show with a bad message
Don't waste your time. Netflix has other good show options. This show and love is blind are stupid. This show places unrealistic expectations on women. A season 2 is not needed
Star Trek: Picard: Et in Arcadia Ego, Part 2 (2020)
Great Finale
Well done episode and the plot moves the story along. I would recommend this show to anyone.
On My Block (2018)
Ok show with poor writing and bland acting
Finished season 1 and 2. Found the show boring and cheesy. I do like that the actors are playing characters close to their age. The Drama just got so unnecessarily crazy and off the wall. Not believable.
FBI: Salvation (2019)
Great episode
A really well done episode. The plot moved along at a nice pace and the actress playing "Jessica" did a very convincing job playing a high school student even though she looked a little old for the part.
Magical Christmas Shoes (2019)
Great Lifetime Christmas Movie
This film was better than some of the Hallmark Holiday movies that been released this year. The leads have great chemistry and the plot was interesting and kept me engaged from start to finish. It was great to see Erin Karpluk back on my screen as I remembered her from "Being Erica" Definitely a movie to watch again next year.
The Righteous Gemstones (2019)
Great Comedy from HBO and McBride
Just finished season 1 and it was amazing. The plot is good, kept me interested the whole time and the cast is so funny. The main 3 siblings are hilarious. Great show to watch with friends or by yourself for a cozy/pampering night in.
Billions: American Champion (2019)
Great Episode
With Billions every episode is better than the last. I did not see the twist with Mafee coming, nice touch. Although I think Axe and Wags are too hard on Spirous.
Avengers: Endgame (2019)
Great movie, lots of things were tied upneatly; kind of.
I really enjoyed this movie. I liked it just as much as Infinity War. I'm sad Endgame won't be on Netflix ( it will be on Disney Now, for a ridiculous price) so I can just stream all the Avenger Movies right after each other.
We see a lot of great characters get a good ending. 3 hours seemed like a long time when going in to the theater but eventually the filmed picked up its pace. The beginning/parts of the middle were a little slow but they had to show emotional feelings and conversations.
Someone Great (2019)
Great Girls Night Film
I really enjoyed this movie. Didn't know what to expect going in because I don't watch Jane the Virgin, so I'm not too familiar with Gina Rodriguez but she was great. Brittany and DeWanda were a great duo
as her best friends. This showed what real life breakups can be like. Very realistic. The soundtrack was fantastic.
Christmas Made to Order (2018)
Great Movie!
This movie was one of the better ones during this holiday season. I usually can't sit through Jonathan Bennett TV movies (Hallmark/Lifetime/UP Network) but, he was great in this film! He and Alexa PenaVega have great chemistry and I wouldn't mind even seeing a part 2 next year. "Christmas Made to Order is Definitely one to watch:)
