Malevolence 3: Killer (2018)
classic slasher throwback!
Saw the premier last night and loved it. A must see for fans of classic 70's and 80's horror films. They don't make them like this anymore. I was a fan of the previous films in the Malevolence trilogy and this doesn't dissapoint. I recommend this one as well as the others in the trilogy. I will definitely add this dvd to my horror dvd collection.
Brutal Massacre: A Comedy (2007)
hilarious
Movie is hilarious. In the same vein as Spinal Tap only for horror movie fans. Will likely become a cult classic. Apparently through word of mouth as it is not easy to find in stores. That in itself is a joke. Really a must see. Gunnar Hansen of Texas Chainsaw fame plays a total slob. Who knew Leatherface could be funny? All star cast for horror fans. stars of Evil Dead, American Werewolf, and Dawn of the Dead to name a few. Also appearing is Dante from Clerks fame. Whats even funnier is that some of the scenarios are based on real events which took place during the making of another horror movie. The director lists Malevolence on his list of credits. It would be funny to think that this was based on making it.
Malevolence (2003)
horror the way it should be-scary
A great horror/suspense movie in the vein of Halloween and Texas Chainsaw. No cheesy rap music or 90210 actors in this one. The way horror movies used to be made. The way they should be! The movie starts with a grizzly murder in an old slaughterhouse. How great is that? The audience was jumping out of their seats throughout the film. The last movie that kept the chills up for so long was the original Halloween. The movie flyer I had gotten stated the movie was "relentless in its desire to scare the heck out of you". It definitely was true in this case. I hope this movie will start a trend towards good horror again. Music score was really creepy throughout the film. Highly recommended.
