Best dialog I have experienced in years
27 December 2013
I believe it is a travesty that this film has such a low score on here. The only thing I can attribute it to is that today's viewers have an attention span of a raccoon trapped in a treasure chest. I suppose the fact that I am a very big fan of this type of film--and what I mean by that is chock full intelligent dialog--may also have something to do with that. There are two other films that have always been in my top 10 favorite films list because of this attribute and they are 12 Angry Men, and The Man From Earth (not to be confused with the man who fell to earth.) Basically a few people trapped in a room for most of the movie discussing a monumental mathematical proof that has huge implications for just about everything and everyone on the planet, and the moral responsibility they have as they are in cahoots with the government through funding. If you have an attention span, love existential and philosophical discussions, or just enjoy movies that make you think then you will love this film as I did. Please help this film get the rating it deserves.

Once again Marvel ruins a good thing....
9 August 2013
You know someone in power at marvel animation either really hates good cartoons or just plain doesn't care. Just like with Spectacular Spider Man the folks at marvel animation saw how much everyone loved Avengers EMH and canceled it in favor of a big stinky pile of capitalization. As if people who didn't know about avengers before the movie were going to be somehow too stupid to handle the slight departure that EMH was from the films, they decided to take away our beloved EMH in favor of an abysmal show that was more similar to the movies. I really REALLY hope that this show get God awful ratings and toy sales so whoever it is in charge of those moronic decision's either gets fired or learns their lesson. Notice I didn't describe the show at all? That's because its not worth a description. Bring back quality and drop this poop marvel. Ugh...

Uwe Boll....no way...
3 August 2013
I love this film. I love everything about it. The intelligent dialog, the painful pacing, the intense violent scenes at the end, and even the "yeah right" ending. The fact that Uwe Boll wrote and directed this blows my mind. Why oh why didn't he ever do something like this when he had the big budget? I don't know what to say...stunned...The drama in this film really gets to you as you just k ow this is more than realistic and not uncommon among middle and lower class people. The most intense and hurtful part of the movie just steeps and you really feel for the main character. Fantastic performances all around. Watch it. Then tell your friends to watch it. It is far from perfect, but everything it gets right is so well done you don't even care.

Hemlock Grove (2013–2015)
How? What?

I cannot even begin to describe how awful my experience watching 5his show has been. And Its a shame because I imagine it could have been really fun if it wasn't for the god awful writing, and even worse acting. I am a huge Famke Janssen fan, and her talent is wasted on a character with a terrible English accent. All the other actors breath as much life into their characters as a coma does a person. The writing...I don't even know what to say. It took every bit of restraint to get through the first 2 episodes. I was going to continue to give it a chance but I just don't think I can. House of Cards was amazing. This is its polar opposite as far a quality. Watch it for yourself and make your own judgment, but for me, I want my 2 hours back.
