Monarch (2022)
Sooo many things...
There are so many things wrong with this show. Everything I've read in the other comments are correct, poor writing, predictable, lip sync is dreadfully hard to watch. Acting is lacking. The arctic ice fishing outing from Austin is head shaking, how? Why? Of all the things to do in Texas, ice fishing?? Really?
The thing that bothers me the most, is the serious content in the first episode, no warnings for possible triggers, no accountability. Which do we really expect anything else from Fox?
Then the mom asking the daughter to assist her, unthinkable. Too close to real life situation with the Judds. Which is a tragedy. This is just bad.
Killing Eve: Hello, Losers (2022)
The End.
Endings always suck.
And this one actually, didn't.
Yes it's not the happy ending of them driving off into the sunset.
But how could it have really been that?? They have a ton of blood on both of their hands.
Think about it?
It's in the title, and yet her tarot card was upside down which means life. 😉 it's always the little things.
I have enjoyed all of this series. So that's why I gave this episode a 10.
I will miss it!!
Invasion (2021)
Don't believe all of the negative nellies!
Give it a chance before throwing it under the bus!!
A few things the other reviews have correct, it is slow, but at an okay pace. I do get a Sense8 vibe, several stories which I'm sure will collide at some point. I don't understand how someone can be so negative after one or two episodes.
Now a few things which aren't exactly correct, the acting is good, and the storylines are adding layers to help us the viewer once it gets going. Not everything has to instant. I realize that's what we all thing but...
2 spoilers that brat needs to be swept away in a sand storm or eaten by the thing in the desert. And I'm sorry but she needs to leave the husband on the side of the street!!
I'm starting episode 4. Perhaps I'll delete this when I'm done. Have a good one!! ✌🏻
Eli (2019)
Walk into it blindly...
It starts right off with questions which don't get answered until the last few minutes.
What you think is happening... is not.
What is happening you won't see coming until it's there.
I can honestly say if I had known what was going on I may have not watched it and it's definitely worth the watch.
It has some jumps, a possible scream or two and an ending you could never guess. Well I don't think you could. Enjoy!
The Assistant (2019)
It's a day in the life...
If you found yourself bored with this movie maybe you should do some research on Wienstien, his predatory behaviors and the people who covered it up.
Then watch it again.
Truth Be Told (2019)
Great TV!! No spoilers here!!
Absolutely perfect TV.
Acting is fabulous.
Story is strong.
Worth your time and the subscription to Apple.
Chambers (2019)
The devil is in the details!!
A 10 isn't a high enough score!!
I can suggest to be sure to pay attention to the beginning few minutes of each episode, as they play a huge role in the story. I can also suggest watch for the littlest of details, because there are tons of them. You won't know what's important until episode 10, which you'll then find yourself watching the series again.
This is superb story telling. The attention to the details threaded throughout weaves a tapestry of the love of family, importance of friends, the horror of supernatural world surrounding us and a mystery to solve before times run out.
No Escape Room (2018)
"You've now entered the Twlight Zone"
Don't believe the bad reviews!! It's worth the watch.
The only thing this movie is missing is Rod Serling at the end...
How It Ends (2018)
Worth Watching
People aren't being fair with this one. It's a good end of the world movie from the perspective of one family working to find each other when the world turns upside down.
It's not about the why's, how's, and the where's.
Give it a chance!
Hollow Creek (2016)
Don't believe what you read!!
This is the first time I've written a review. I'm writing one now because what I'm seeing for reviews are way off base. The movie is very good. It keeps your attention. Ties all of the pieces together. The acting isn't the best, but it's not the worse either. It's worth your 2 hours.
