One of the best all time movies ever made. Great cast of actors, historically accurate and a lot of great baseball. Tom Hanks hits a home run as an actor in this movie! The 1940s and early 1950s clothing, music, vehicles, baseball fields, scenery, etc is 100% on spot. A+ to the screenwriters, especially on how the movie ends.

Guardians of the Galaxy

We usually do not watch these types of movies, however, we were pleasantly surprised with Guardians of the Galaxy. Not only were the special effects outstanding, so was the acting, which is becoming a rarity these days. The screenwriters did a great job with this production. Good job Hollywood!

Disappointing Madea Movie

Like another reviewer, I too am a huge Madea fan, however, this movie lost my attention after the first 10 minutes. I concur that many of the scenes were too long. They were boring with long, drawn out dialogues. I actually dozed off a couple of times.
We laughed occasionally, however, the comedy and acting did not rise to that of other Madea films. We actually thought about walking out after the first 45 minutes, however, we are glad we stayed as the scenes at the end kept our attention and were much more entertaining.
That being said, my recommendation would be to wait until this movie becomes available on DVD or pay-per-view.

Another Great Classic!

Bravo Hollywood! This is a must see movie! This is by hands down the best movie this year, if not in the past 10 years. We went into this movie thinking that nothing could be better than the Heston version of Ben-Hur. We were wrong...the acting and cinematography were OUTSTANDING! Mr. Heston would have been proud. We applaud the producers for taking the risk on a remake of an all time classic. Besides the great special effects (except for too much shaking of the camera in the final chariot race scene), powerful music and superb acting, this movie brings home a powerful message which is especially solidified in the final scenes. This movie deserves several academy awards! This is a powerful movie so be prepared. Again, well done!
