Welcome to Chechnya (2020)
Explanation below
I watched the documentary a few day ago:
@Leftist Liberals: I blame you for every single victim of hate crime and especially those who died because of their sexual orientation.
The problem with you guys is that you always deepen discrepancies between minorities only to get some more votes. You only use these minorities for your own political, selfish agenda. It isn't by far about gays!
You push an aggressive agenda only to scorn the Right and other people who otherwise wouldn't have any problem with people's sexual orientation or other minorities.
YET their innocent blood is on your hands.
@LGBTIQ activists like David and Olga: I am completely against any aggressive form of activism like I have stated above. Having said this, I think you have done a wonderful job saving those people's life. They aren't gay, they are human beings. But congrats for the both of you for making a huge effort to provide a safe haven for all those people in serious trouble.
@RamzamKadirov: If the accusations are true and you are involved in the torture and killing of people whether gays or not, I think you seriously need to reconsider yourself mate.
First of all you claim to be a Muslim.
I know that the god you believe in should be a god of love. If we love someone, we don't torture or kill them, no matter what, otherwise you sink to their level.
I deeply understand that you need to protect values like family, tradition and faith, and I even think that you're right in these matters! This liberal world isn't giving anyone a future full of hope, protection and stability. Liberalism brings chaos, anarchy and confusion. I agree with you on fighting against it.
But like I said, if you truly believe in Allah, than I think he wouldn't agree with you murdering people, no matter the crime. There are levels of punishment, reintegration, education through which you can achieve more and your hands will be clean.
Your task is to portray a picture of Allah that is Merciful and not vengeful or a murderer. If you think that there are people in the republic you are given from Allah to rule over for this period then you should do it mercifully and find ways of integrating them into the society you're dreaming of.
What do you expect by not showing mercy to people? What do you think your after life will be if you are engaging yourself into torturing and murdering people?
Allah is merciful, so you should be! Think about it, because you have been given a huge task, responsibility. Many people's life depend on you for the moment, FOR THE MOMENT.
Try to rule over the republic with a clean hand and heart to be able to be proud of yourself when you'll look back to the past.
Be merciful because your Allah is also merciful as far as I'm concerned.
The Vice HBO: It was an interesting documentary and I appreciate highlighting an issue that has never been spoken about. However I think some aspects of the film are highly politically motivated. You guys should be work harder on impartiality, professionalism and not being left leaning biased.
Un pas în urma serafimilor (2017)
Surprise
I dreaded that the film is going to be about another over-dramatised and falsely advertised misconducts in the Orthodox Church BUT it wasn't!
I dislike commercial films where you're forced to give up one and a half hour from your life or even more for another cliché ending or nothing.
The actors play their roles authentically, the story could have been detailed more and the ending is gripping as well.
Music in films are important to me, so it's well chosen and makes you think a bit about the film next day after you've watched it.
I recommend it!
Mediterranea (2015)
ANTI-BIASED!
Let's make it clear that people coming to Europe to earn a decent work place are most welcomed.
The main character played his role very well and at one point I've even forgotten that it's a film and not a reality show... But all the actors did an amazing vivid job in creating this film. The story begins a bit blurry but I guess that's not uncommon in places where the actual film sets off. As we go by, I was just hoping that they won't be telling us another story about a "random" journey in the desert...
Everyone living in households where there's a toilet indoors should realise how lucky we are and be fully aware of other lives struggling for every piece of bred on a daily basis.
It's interesting, because normally I'm against any kind of migration BUT seeing this chap's story I could imagine that lives like his is occurring.
I can also understand, however, the European reaction to this hybrid environment where your street, your park, your town doesn't look like what it used to be yesterday. The changes are dramatically and we need to separate terrorist from real migrants!
Q: Is this symbiosis necessary? And if it is, couldn't it done more civilised?
Freier Fall (2013)
German Film industry recovering
I'm a more of a critical person when it comes to watching films, especially German films. Let's point out, that I don't watch American films! At first I thought it can give me some pleasant surprises and it did! After watching Harvest, I soon realised that the German film industry is really recovering. That's really nice! In this film we saw a DECENT storyline, with remarkable talented actors and what I favour in a film is that it was played very authentically. I don't usually give 10 out of 10, but this film WELL WORTH IT! I recommend for everyone! It wasn't another low quality, obscene, cliché film. It's one of the films you think about the other day too! Well done, for the artists, producers!
Marécages (2011)
Deffo worth watching it!
When I first saw the poster for this film, I thought it won't be a good one. I was positively surprised to experience a special atmosphere! The film's almost 2 hours long, but believe me, I didn't feel that it was that long because the artists played their role astonishingly well made me feel like I was part of the family and the film had interesting, exciting events and outcomes. A family with their teenager son lives on a farm somewhere in Canada. They are working from dawn to dusk and still facing bankruptcy. A tragedy will dramatically change their lives... When you think this will be another event-less film, the drama strikes and you the viewer feel profoundly sorry for what had happened and maybe you'd think you'd react better if it would had happened to you. It's not a mourning film, so don't be afraid that the director will endlessly reflect on the main causes of life :). The son is another amazing performance! I felt sorry for his condition but in the end I think there's no man an earth right now who doesn't have a Cross to bear! I don't usually watch films from overseas. I don't like Northern American films but Canadian films haven't let me down that often... so far :)
Las acacias (2011)
Only if you like non-commercial films!
I watched this film last night and I thought it is going to be boring. It wasn't the case in the end, because I felt like I was part of the journey, I was in the car and I couldn't hardly wait to get to Buenos Aires, and once there, I felt like I know my trip mates better. :) The baby was more than amazing! She's like a little star! I think when she'll grow up and see her performance she'll have all the reason to be proud for herself :) An achievement :)
It may seem like the whole film is event-less but I was positively surprised to see that the outcome was better then expected. I can easily imagine this to happen for real... Like I said I only recommend this film only if you're not infected with the holywoodian kind of "film".
Csak a szél (2012)
Mixed thoughts
I like arty films in which I have to think about what is really happening... Although I was a bit annoyed by the fact that the picture was mainly dark and I couldn't see many things. I assume the director wanted to express the spiritual and factual state in which Travellers live their everyday life. Nevertheless there is a certain degree of discrimination. Not a quiet one. After watching the film I felt confused not really sure what had happened. After reading the comment of the reviewer from Germany, I understood better what I've just seen. I like films where your mind is put to the test, unlike the Hollywood commercial stupid and manipulating films. I think it must have been more comprehensive though.
