Back to the Future (1985)
Superb Movie and acting after all these years
I got a chance to see this movie again, being at least 12 or 13 years since I saw it last and I think it's still great. I love it now as much if not better than when I was young.
Michael J. Fox & Christopher Lloyd are great, Crispin Glover was superb (as usual) as well as Lea Thompson and Thomas Wilson. There are some great moments especially when George McFly tries to impress Lorraine at the restaurant, that was pretty hysterical as well as Biff and his friends chasing Marty and running into the manure truck. The cast and supporting cast were incredible, no other actors I don't think could've pulled it off so well. . You'll always remember Michael J. Fox as Marty, Christopher Lloyd as Doc and Crispin Glover as George Mcfly. I like the other 2 movies as well but I think the 2nd one would've been better if Glover took the role as George again. In my opinion he made the first movie.
I was glad to see this timeless classic again and I highly recommend it to those who haven't seen it. One of the best time travel movies ever made. 9 out of 10
The Crow (1994)
One of my favorite comic book movies ever
The Crow has to be one of my favorite comic book movies I have ever seen. Brandon Lee was excellent, hearing about his death was one of the worst things I have ever heard (in the movie biz). There are a lot of great things about this movie and for those of you that have seen this I am sure you know. Great story, acting, the dark/ rainy scenery was great, etc... There are so many "I'll get my revenge" movies but the way this movie portrayed it was totally original. This movie has good replay value also, I saw it 5 times in the theater when it came out and numerous times since I have had it on DVD. Michael Wincott also did a great job as well as Ernie Hudson. If you haven't seen this movie I highly recommended that you do. I'm not going to go all about telling you about it, that is what all the other comments are for. The deleted scenes feature on the DVD is also good, I wish they put it in the movie instead of having it as an extra. 10/10
Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle (2003)
If you thought the first one was bad
If you thought the first Charlie's Angles was bad, this one takes the cake, pure Crap with a capital C. This movie Haunts me, every time here lately I turn on the TV I always see this movie on either one of the HBO or Cinamax channels. The only parts of this movie worth watching were the Thin Man, and there were not many parts with him in it, that really disappointed me. All the other characters were to cheesy to follow and I lost interest in this quickly. The actors (except for Crispin Glover was horrible, it seems like they put this movie together in a day, maybe less. If you are a Glover fan this movie is worth watching once just for him alone but other than that it is not worth watching even if there is nothing else to do. Just for the 5 minutes or so for the Thin Man I give this a 3 out of 10.
Charlie's Angels (2000)
Not bad but could have been a lot better
I tried my best to avoid this movie but I happen to see this not to long ago on TV. If it wasn't for Crispin Glover and Sam Rockwell this movie would have been beyond horrible. I expected the cheese and it being unrealistic (plenty of that). Glover did an excellent job as the Thin Man, they should have had more of him in the movie. Actually in my opinion he should have killed them all. This movie was trying to hard to be like the Matrix. This movie is worth seeing maybe once if there is absolutely nothing else to do. The movie soundtrack is not that bad, at least it fit the movie. Just for the Thin Man I give this movie a 5 out of 10, other than that it is pretty horrible.
Fast Sofa (2001)
Not that Bad
I admit the first 30 - 40 minutes wasn't that great but it somewhat kept my interest. I'm not a big fan of Jake Busey but I thought he was OK in this at times. Crispin Glover stole the show, he always plays the odd character so well. All the other actors were tolerable but Glover was definitely the only one that shined. Jennifer Tilly was totally annoying. This is definitely not a movie for everyone, it's definitely an acquired taste. I found out about this movie about 6 or 7 months ago, I wonder if it ever got released on DVD in major stores. I purchased the DVD online and it took me awhile to find it. This movie I definitely wouldn't rate it a 9 or 10 but it's worth checking out especially if you're a Crispin Glover fan.
Willard (2003)
Crispin Glover
Great Movie, especially Crispin Glover, he is an amazing Actor. There could've been a little more killing, actually more people to kill but to me that's not that big of a deal. It would get kind of boring seeing rats bite victim after victim. I think the directors were focused on more of the actors abilities. Both Crispin and Lee Ermey are great actors and that was the reason I saw it, and they did a superb job. I saw the original Willard once when I was a kid and that was great too. I can't really compare Bruce Davidson to Crispin Glover because they're two totally different actors. Both did a great job in their own way. If Crispin wasn't in this in my opinion it wouldn't be nearly as good, actually I don't think anyone else could pull it off, well maybe Johnny Depp. 9/10
