The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning (2006)
Hold still so i can see whats going on!
This could have been a really cool movie, but the camera would not hold still for long enough for me to see what was happening. I know this is a technique to add suspense and a frantic feeling, but in reality it is just a technique that makes the film look amateur and crappy. The film was a decent enough sequel to a remake lots of blood and creepy scenes but the fame did not hold still long enough to appreciate it. I don't even know if the special effects were good all i could see was shaking camera and spurting blood. Its a real disappointment that the over the top cinematography had to detract from a film that could have been pretty intense.
New Year's Rockin' Eve 2006 (2005)
Amazing man, sad to see his health declining so
I had to change the channel after a while because every time Dick Clark came on it was so touching and sad at the same time to see his health in such shape. Dick Clark has been doing this for so long and has been through so many ups and downs it is hard to watch an American legend deteriorate. For someone who has suffered such a major stroke you have to admire his courage for going on TV in his condition. It was hard to get past however, like seeing a loved one or grandparent beginning to lose their memories. My parents grew up with Dick Clark on TV with American Bandstand. I grew up with Dick Clark as a New Years institution. It was a bitter sweet moment to see Dick Clark return to the television event he started. My hat goes off to Mr. Clark an American legend. Happy New year Mr. Clark happy new year to all.
Meat Market 2 (2001)
Where did my 7 dollars go?
About the worst movie in distribution right now! I love zombie movies and saw this in the used rack so I thought why not? Oh my god a shame to zombie movies and fans to the genre! Whoever made this movie needs to put away your camcorder and go to film school! There are so many gore hounds out there who have put time and effort into their films and they have something that this film doesn't dignity. I know it what it takes to make films and I'm sure there was a lot of money and time spent in making Meat Market but none of that money and time went in to making it good. You need actors, a script, a real camera, invest in some books on how to make independent films. I don't know how you got a DVD release but whoever did that is either a really good friend or banging their head on the wall. In gore films it is quality not quantity, the effects are weak! I was so angry that this is actually in stores and that I couldn't get my money back. Please if you have seen this film write here and put an end to shlock. I know I'm being very harsh, I only had 10 lines so I'm trying to get to the point.
Red Dead Revolver (2004)
Amazing. Best western plot ever.
A culmination of the best western plots, characters, and settings. Utilizing the music the look and the feel of western greats such as, The Good the Bad and the Ugly, and the Clint Eastwood spaghetti westerns. Amazing gameplay lots of fun. Amazing soundtrack. Great game, a must have for western fans. The bridge scene from GBU is almost completely recreated, its like being in the films. If you have never seen a western or don't like the genre this is obviously not for you. The character of Red is like all the Clint Eastwood characters combined to create one hell of a badass. Red Dead Revolver is the best paced, best scripted western i have ever seen or played!
