GREAT SPORTS COMEDY
19 February 2019
Do you like sports, women, mobsters, and comedy? Well then you are going to want to watch this movie.

This is the story of Bobby "Big Time" Davis. A professional football kicker that seems to have the life we all want. Fame, fortune, and of course women. The problem is "Big Time" has had a few too many women.

Bobby, played brilliantly by Shannon Brown, decided to settle financially with two women who claim to be carrying his babies. He also tries to keep the settlement quiet from his new fiancé Cassandra, played by Juliette Bennett.

Brown's portrayal of "Big Time" is well played on all levels. What especially sticks out is Brown's comedic prowess. His timing is impeccable. His facial expressions are priceless. Just try not to take a sip of a drink while watching him. You will end up spitting out your drink. You have been warned.

Bobby's life gets even more complicated when his sister Annie, played by Heather Matarazzo, shows up with some harebrained idea on how to make money off of her famous brother. So being the loving brother he is, Big Time gives his sister the seed money she needs.

Just when Big Time thinks he has his life back in order all hell breaks lose. It turns out his long time friend, and agent, played by Ken Weichert, has been running a ponzee scheme that would make Bernie Madoff proud.

Bobby think's his life can't get any worse until his sister moves in with him because she lost her house when Bobby's check bounces.

Now he has his sister, two baby mammas, and his pregnant fiancé' living under one roof.

This movie is a fun comedy that will keep you laughing. It's a must for any sports fan, or player. LOL.

Halloweed (2016)
9/10
Halloweed will have you howling in laughter.
24 October 2016
Warning: Spoilers
So I just finished watching Halloweed on iTunes. OMG I never laughed so hard. All of the characters in this film are so outrageous. Then you have the main character of Trent Modine, played by Shannon Brown. Talk about funny. This poor guy gets into situations because of the others, and he is hilarious. I mean he is just a normal guy getting thrown into extraordinary circumstances and he nails it. You feel bad for his character but you also are laughing so hard you want to see more.

I'm not the biggest Simon Rex fan, but him and Shannon Brown play really well off each other as brothers, they are hilarious together. Also the Lloyd character, played by Robert Craighead, is a riot, you have to see it to understand, I can't put it into words. I am a fan of Tom Sizemore and he is perfect as our hero's father.

Shannon Brown is a true talent, I've seen him play all kinds of different roles so I was anxious to see him in a film like this and he did not disappoint.

I like films that don't try to be something they're not and Halloweed totally embraces the silly, over the top insanity that it seems like it was meant to be. The only thing stopping me from giving it a 10 is that a couple of the scenes seemed like they were cut too short before the joke landed and some of the props were a little amateurish.

See this movie if you want a good laugh. And for my friends in Colorado, indulge in the movies name sake and then watch it. You will have such an awesome time.

Finding Hope (II) (2019)
10/10
Amazing Movie. I LOVED IT!!!
11 January 2016
This movie reminded me of three of my favorite films. It was like "City of Angels" meets "Ghost" and "Hearts and Souls". I absolutely was blown away by this movie. I laughed, I cried. It was an emotional film that struck home with me on so many different levels.

The cinematography was beautifully done. The direction and writing were spot on. The characters pulled you into to the story and made you start to take stock in your own life.

The acting was top tier. Suzette Brown's performance as Hope was nothing short of award worthy. She plays the character beautifully. Shannon Brown is amazing as Andrew. You can feel the raw emotion he is feeling. Craig James Jr. reminded me of a young Treat Williams. The character he plays, Jacob, is someone we have all encountered at some point in our lives, yet you can relate to what he is dealing with.

I am not one to watch a movie on the computer. But I watched this one from start to finish and wish I could see it on the big screen.

If you have free time and want to see a really well made, well acted, and well written movie. Watch "Finding Hope". I promise you it will stop and make you think about your life. I know it changed mine.
