Oh the Drama, Drama, and even more needless Drama
28 November 2023
Being the Sci-Fi buff that I am, any time I see a new science fiction movie or series, I have to check it out holding high hopes for a good one. Sad to say, this one is not one of those "good ones." In fact, it probably one of the worst, if not THE worst I have seen a in quite a long time. Don't worry, I am not going to get into the plot so there won't be any spoilers because for all intents and purposes there is no plot worth mentioning here. They are just using a Sci-Fi space setting for nothing more than endless, over-burdening, needless conflict and drama between a few boring and undeveloped characters. Now if you like this sort of mindless drivel, be my guest. But as for me, I'm outa here.

Only someone who hates Star Trek would watch this.
9 October 2023
I know Kurtzman and Secret Hideout hate the fans of the original show, and everything the original shows stood for, but honestly, why keep allowing them to void their collective bowels all over the Star Trek franchise? The show isn't funny, well written, or interesting. In fact it goes out of its way to say "Hey, if you're a fan of any type of Star Trek, we hate you and you're an idiot." Cheap jokes, cliche characters, no real insight or thoughtfulness, didn't even feel like Star Trek. Why the hell would anyone watch this type of "humor." Only someone who hates the real Star Trek series would watch this.

An insult to human intelligence.
9 October 2023
After only a couple of minutes, I realized that the producer(s) are completely out of touch with reality. No Law Enforcement official worth their salt would ever enter a threatening situation with no bullets in the chamber of their weapons. The writing is just horrible. The characters get more unlikable as the series continues. The Australian Navy should sue. The ships' crew is the most incompetent imaginable. Members are taken hostage constantly. Must have only had petty cash to pay for the rest of the show. Scripts are hilarious. Actors seem like first year drama class students. Australia, if this is a true reflection of your navy, I am so sorry!

"Political correctness" and "cancel culture" took a true story to complete fiction.
15 April 2023
This movie may as well have been fiction. Yes there was a man who had to land a Beech-craft King Air because the pilot died. But that's about where reality stops. Just about everything else depicted in this film is made up drama. About the worst abuse of creative license I have ever seen. And I use the word creative very loosely here. It's almost as if they made no attempt to research real world actions when this was written. Relying on the ignorance of their potential audience for it to succeed. I mean really? Two 10 year old kids ride their bicycles right up to an emergency situation at an airport. Right alongside all of the firetrucks and emergency crews on the runway. That is just one example of stupidity at the end of this film. The rest of this made up garbage is just as bad or worse. I gave it one star only because I had to. Otherwise it would be a big fat ZERO.

A fictional documentary cop out.
6 April 2023
At the beginning of this film I thought the interview was just going to be the first scene or two. But as soon as I realized that this was going to be the entire movie, I started to lose interest very quickly. In fact, it just got to be so tediously boring. I actually fell asleep. I really was looking forward to the subject and overall Idea. But what a disappointment this was. Although I can see how on a low budget film, this could save money. Especially in the acting apartment. You really don't have to be an academy award winner to do an interview. Nice try but fictional documentaries do not work. I like documentaries only when they are real and you are and you are interviewing real people.

Sorry. I am not buying it.

Make no noise. Really? There are just too many holes in the plot and you have to make many exceptions regarding plain old common sense for this to work. They can't talk to each other. Ok fine. But a whisper would make much less noise than the just moving around the way they did. Wooden porches and floor don't creak. Give me a break! No dry leaves or twigs in their path for miles to and from where ever they are going. They would not have the time to keep all that up. Oh yeah and what if someone sneezes or maybe inadvertently makes noise while asleep. I could go on and on. Sorry, it is just too stupid. .

Don't waste your time

Same old song and dance as every other show of this type. The difference being that they are doing it with William Shatner this time. And in the end we learn nothing new and nothing is ever explained. Don't waste your time.

Waste of Time

Man they are really milking this one for all it's worth. Nothing is ever resolved. Just nothing but maybe, possibly, could be, perhaps, likely and God willing this could be something. My opinion is that they don't really want to find anything because then the shows over. And it's no mystery, that is where the real money is.

Horrible

Very unfunny and woke supposed comedy. If the writing and/or subject matter are bad. Then it really doesn't matter how many big names you have in the show. It still sucks.

Loved it!

Crazy, zany, and very funny. Best thing as far as animations go since SpongeBob SquarePants. The characters have great personality and the animation was done very well. 1930's-40's setting was also a very nice touch. Well done. I can't wait for more!

I would have to be a moron to consider this entertainment.
18 February 2022
I watched a few episodes and I will have to say that given all the high marks I have seen here it does not take much to entertain the general public these days. I can see one or two programs just to show how it's done but we all know what this show is really about. Everyone is waiting for the end. That last test to see if the contestant's piece can make a bloody mess out of whatever it is they chose to chop up that day. The future Jeffery Dahmer's of America.

Boobs and Booty
6 October 2021
I watched it for the chics in skimpy tank tops and tight jeans. The hog hunting end of it was a complete joke. The show is supposed to about hog extermination or elimination. All they were doing was hunting them for sport style. Them darn hogs breed faster then they could catch'em that way. The only way to get even close getting rid of them for a property owner is to catch them in large traps by the dozens at a time. Then shoot'em all in the head while they're all together then haul'em off.

Even hunt'in for sport no one bothers to tie up a hog and keeing it alive. They're are always killed in the process.

How long did they think this would last?
30 September 2021
Just another dumb cookie cutter cop show churned out in the 1970's. First off how long did they think this was supposed to last anyway? You can only be a rookie for a season, maybe two. After that they aren't rookies anymore. Now what? You have to change the name of the show? Lame show, stupid name.

Great Toons but Horrible Hosts and Skits
15 August 2021
I grew up watching Loony Tunes, Tom and Jerry and other old classic tunes shown here but on weekdays (Mon thru Fri) I tune out because the host Bill and his skits with Goldie and others on the show are just so bad I can't sit through it. In 1 hours time they show about 30 mins of great tunes and the rest is horrible. I know that they are focusing on trying to entertain young kids but even my grandson did not stay with it for long. During the stupid, unfunny skits he got up and never came back to finish watching the show. The only saving grace for this show is that on Saturdays the program is 3 hrs without the host and skits. Just the toons which is the way it should be done all of the time.

Wishful Thinking
26 July 2019
When I saw the title and preview for this series I thought this might be something good. Something different from what Netflix and others have been doling out. I am a big sci-fi fan so had high hopes that this would not be some drama ridden series like all the rest. But I was very, very wrong. Usually these types of series will have at least two or three episodes of good sci-fi action and writing. You know, just to get you hooked. But not this one. Jeez, they could not get past the first 20 minutes before everyone was at odds with each other like a bunch of immature teenagers. It's all about personal conflict and drama. Just a different platform to deliver it. Come up with something original Netflix. If it weren't for the older shows and some reruns that I like. I would not be a member.

This movie is ridiculously stupid with numerous plot holes
12 March 2014
This movie does not deserve a long review so I'm going to keep this short and sweet. First I'd Like to point out that the performances by Tierney and Brody are not why this movie does not work for me. Two fine actors to say the least. The biggest problem, among others, is that in order to make many of the scenes work they had to make the cops really REALLY stupid. Morons in fact! About midway through the movie (and I did watch it to the end unfortunately) an old sitcom called Hogans Heroes came to mind. You remember, they had to make the Germans incredibly dumb in order to give we Americans a few laughs. Well, I guess the directors and/or writers forgot that this DOES NOT WORK IN A SERIOUS MOVIE! Do not watch this movie. It is a complete waste of time. Watch only if you have nothing else to do OR possibly while your doing something else LOL. I would have given this flick a BIG FAT ZERO if they'd let me. So I had to give it 1 star. (sigh)
