X-Men First Class - The Missing Link.
4 June 2011
Warning: Spoilers
Finally, we got to know how the whole thing started, why Magneto (played by Fassbender) and Xavier (played by McAvoy) had become who they are, in the later X-Men movies. Why Magneto dislike the human-race so much.

But as always, all is not as it seems, for one can't help but have sympathy for Magneto. He is neither good or bad at this point. Xavier is also in his younger days a firm believer in, that people are worth saving. Basically, you get a little better insight into who they are emotionally.

We meet new, but also some known old mutants, just in younger versions. We see how new alliances are being made and destroyed, how friendships starting to crumble into pieces.

X-Men First Class has its soft and quiet moments, but certainly also moments with action scenes.

It's excellent acting performances rendered by all parties in the X-Men First Class. Can't imagine that, other actors than Fassbender and McAvoy play a young Magneto and Xavier. Fassbender has that tough, but sensitive edge, while McAvoy has a sensitive, but rough edge, and that makes them so good in their respective roles as Magneto and Xavier.

It's one of the best X-Men movies to date, even though X-Men 1 to 3 and Wolverine is really good too.

Hoping for a sequel to X-Men First Class, still with Fassbender and McAvoy in the leading roles as Magneto & Xavier.

Flashpoint (2008–2012)
10/10
Intense Canadian Police Drama.
25 June 2010
Warning: Spoilers
Flashpoint is an intense show, it's well written, well played by the actors and filled with emotional stories.

When the "normal" police gives up, they call for the SRU team.

It's about a strategic response unit, there have problems of their own, when at the same time, they have to solve desperate peoples actions, the best way possible, preferably without taking the last resort in use. Their strongest weapons include negotiation and sniper skills.

Know it's fiction, but I like it, because it shows that you can't judge people, before you know what lies behind their actions. Some might do it deliberately, but there almost, always lies a tragedy behind their actions, it's not always black and white, when you look closer. Even though, it's just fiction you have to be very strong emotional, not to be affected by the stories in the show, and even then you get affected. Yes I admit it, I get a tear or two in the corner of my eyes almost each time.

Also like it, because new layers is peeled of the characters is each episodes, you get to know a little bit more about them, and why they are like they are, what kind of people they are, their morale e.c.t.

Flashpoint is very recommendable, so is you haven't seen it yet, then give it a chance!.

Farscape (1999–2003)
10/10
WOW, can't even start to cover FARSCAPE!!
11 April 2005
I had heard from other people that Farscape was good, so when I had the opportunity to watch the two final episodes in the whole series, I took it, and I haven't regret it since. I only regret, that I took me so long to discover the BEST SCI-FI Series on EARTH. (It will be difficult to beat this one). By watching these episodes, it made me want to know what had happen prior to the final, how it all had started, I just wanted more of the same.

So I bought all the episodes on DVD, and what a blast, it does not just take you to the edge, but way behind your imagination. It makes you wonder........what if? It plays with your imagination, it's like an adventure, into the unknown for the 45 minutes an episode last.

It is well written, and the characters are really well played by the actors. Yes Farscape covers it all; friendship between species's, love at first sight, hate, sorrow, happiness, loyalty, betrayal e.c.t., you name it.

The red line in this, is that as long you have an open mind, you will accept anything that happens, anything is allowed, because it is Sci-Fi. It only took one episode, to get me hooked forever in the Farscape universe, and I can strongly recommend watching it!.

Third Watch (1999–2005)
8/10
One of the best shows in years. (spoilers)
29 November 2004
Warning: Spoilers
After having seen the first episode I was hooked on the show, (love at first sight). The blend of cops, firefighters and paramedics, and all the human aspects of life, like: loyalty, friendship, e.c.t. made this series # 1 on my list. Well, I have to say, there are not many series that can keep me interested season after season, but THIRD WATCH was/is one of them, it's only getting better and better.

The actors make the characters come so much to live, that you can't do anything else than feel with them, when you see the show, episode after episode, and even though I like all characters (more or less), my favorites are: Yokas and Bosco. Their loyalty and friendship to one another are beyond normal. Example; when Bosco saves Yokas life in season 5, with no regards for his own safety.

To round this up,I hope that season 1 to ???, soon will come out on DVD.
