Patrick Stewart is a great actor but the storyline is ridiculous. Yes I'm a fan of the previous star Trek series this has very little to do with what the shows about

Data's daughter...that story has been done why rehash it?

Oh another if data's family literally noone knew about.

Oh suddenly TV is a thing in the future...where it's barely mentioned or seen in such a way through virtually the entire franchise.

The CGI. The scene where riker comes with some of the fleet is borderline lazy, yeah ok a lot of sovereign class..the futures here and Starfleet though yeah let's build the sovereign class only. It's lazy and anyway yeah sure a huge percentage of the fleet are near or sat near a station somewhere and can all get there that quick. Jog off.

Highly unlikely Starfleet would use "synthetics" to that degree on that scale.

They are all good actors...the writing however is written by a group who obviously need to revisit the endless hours of what's already been made and try again

Season 2 is inbound...back in time again to the present day...wonder where that's been done before.

Get better writers and use the backstory you have and the great actors are write some sort of story that is new.

A woman I know asked me to watch this.

To be fair I should delete her from my life.

This film is by far one of the stupidest things I've ever seen.

Sad guy wants date Gets a buddy..gets obsessed Kills mother, trys to kill girlfriend Even with the hidden depth that exists it's stupid.

Dawn of the dead is a good zombie film

So ok something that could spread on a global scale is just left so open it's unreal. They enter and don't even shut the door......

The daughter is the most stupidest annoying character ever. I'd drop her out the chopper for causing every one to die!

Las Vegas wouldn't even exist..it'd of been levelled a long...long time ago.

Noone is freely waltzing out and being ok hours after a nuclear warhead is dropped.

So daughter goes to find the mother of the kids..helicopter crashes and yet we didn't find out if the mother survived?!

Stupid song choices.

The writing is shocking..it's cringey. A fun zombie film is one thing..something that makes zero sense whatever isn't.

Good actors good setting...I watched it. I thought it was ok

One thing bugs me...this guy was behind a sealed panel. How was this guy behind a sealed panel on a space ship. It was not intentional on his part that he was behind a sealed panel on a spaceship. She had to undo the cover to gain access for him to drop on the ground. The rest is ok..

However I can't see NASA or whatever agency it was saying look you'll have to bin the guy off the ship...it doesn't matter on your morals...from an image standpoint it's unacceptable for an agency to make such a call. . They were close enough to earth probably for re-entry or at the very least to send another ship to get him. So in the end they lost on doctor. Gained a guy with no real relevant skills. Research destroyed. I mean...what

All that being said I thought it was ok..I watched it. All good actors definitely.

This is not supposed to be Battlestar or star trek. It's the human aspect of a mission to Mars. Sometimes it's a bit cheesy yes but never mind. I still kept watching it. Ignore the whinge fest..try to actually watch it

Ok the new trilogy sucks

I did like this better than the other two

BUT No Anakin Skywalker besides his voice.

The story is basically "sorry about the past Jedi"

It's a shame about the cast, you could of used them in a new trilogy or even a follow on this Skywalker trilogy with an actual story still.

Rey after this film I liked but purely because they used her right.

There isn't a really a story

The rating is for visuals and daisy Ridley and that's it.

Shame but I don't hate it as much as the last Jedi so it wins
