Fun action movie to escape reality
6 February 2024
Warning: Spoilers
I just saw this movie in the theatre with my daughter and it was a good family movie for older kids. It is nearly 2.5 hours long so make sure you bring snacks!

Was there violence? Yes but it wasn't disturbing or gory. There was no foul language and no sex scenes. There are a few moments that amount to a jump scare but they don't look realistic.

The storyline was decent and the pace was good. I didn't see most of the plot twists coming,so it wasn't quite predictable.

The music used wasn't popular hits, if there were I think it would have made me form a deeper connection with the characters. Some of the CGI was ridiculous but in action comedy movies, you go to the theatre to escape reality.

It was nearly 2.5 hours long but most scenes didn't drag out. Would recommend.

Disturbing

This movie resembled a romantic B-movie at times but left me so disturbed that I wish I'd never watched it. I hope someone reads this review and spares themselves the horror.

Edge of your seat

Excellent movie, just wish they'd "cut off" the movie before the last 3 minutes.

I'd rather watch Twitter
6 June 2020
After watching the trailer, I decided to give this movie a chance considering the tone of the world right now (June/20). Right off the hop it looked interesting, but the acting was very dry. Myself and my friend got nearly an hour in and had no desire to watch the next 1.5 hours. The acting was so terrible that I looked up who the director was so that I could avoid all future movies.

Not a 'mommy horror movie'

The 14A rating misled me into thinking that this movie wouldn't scare me. But, I'm shook.
