The revival of Dirty Harty
21 May 2021
This cob is a criminal, but with a heart of gold, beating up the real crooks. The story gives you chicken skin. The cop killer is a brute nitwit looking for bloody revanche of his arrests after criminal acts. Jason is very well casted as a loner and tough guy that never let a crime actions without punishment.

At the same time he respects a new colleague who was rejected due to his homosexuality in the police corps.

Statham's acting is fresh and natural. You almost wish that there were more cobs like him. That's I dompare him with Clint Eastwood.

Just like Clint he has a sense of humor, tongue in cheeck.

Watch the movie. I think it's Jason's best.

The movie is not too bad, but definitely not Amsterdamned

Warning: Spoilers
The story is not complex. Husbands with affairs get killed. Mostly by accident. The only actor I like and is acting funny is Kees Boot as gangster Cliff. He loves the music of Cliff Richard, but the letdown is that a cover band plays the music of Cliff Richard. Jaco van der Steen, bass-player and singer of the band The Dutch Eagles, sung and recorded the music. Not too bad, but I prefer to hear the original as gangster Cliff should... ;-) Anyway it is a typical Chris Maas movie. The photography is nice, sometimes beautiful. The sound of the voices are clear and crisp. And the plot is not too difficult. There are only a handful of actors who have to tell the story. So the storyline is not complex. The special effects are well done. There is a small hint that may be directs to 9-11. The airplane of one of the husbands is sabotaged by killer Cliff and crashes against a building. Anyway, the film is entertaining, but you must be careful that you do not occasionally nod off.
