What's with all the hate?
20 December 2016
I have no idea how I stumbled upon this show, but I'm so glad I did. I watched the trailer of the show, and even after reading negative comments, something attracted me to it and let's just say I finished the entire show in a day.

Brit Marling's acting is absolutely stunning. All of the cast for that matter is perfect, with seamless performances from all. This show really makes you think and leaves a lot up to the mind. If you're into mind bending shows and hardcore sci-fi, this one's for you.

It is so attention grabbing and the depth of the plot really digs deep and dives into the knitty gritty details, and adds dramatic pauses and scenes perfectly. The music is also stunning and the entire show is artistically beautiful. It's something different, and guys give it a chance. It's truly awesome, and to emphasis that even more I think I can pretty much sum it up by saying that I'm pretty sure I like it more than Stranger Things. *Don't kill me*

Where has this been?!?!
22 December 2015
I thought this movie was absolutely remarkable. I was scrolling through Netflix for a fun movie with a little bit of drama and I came across this one. I wasn't completely intrigued by the short summary but gave it a shot because (as all Netflix viewers are) I was tired of scrolling. Little did I know, I would fall in love with the movie. This movie made me fall in love with the characters, their hearts, and emotions. It also really truly opened my eyes about mental disorders in a way that I couldn't have imagined. It showed me what these people truly go through and how a little bit of support can change how they live in the world. It was a story of strength, realizing ones self and also understanding other's emotions as well as your own. It's about building new relationships and fixing past relationships with patience and proper guidance. It's truly a satisfying movie.

Even better, was that the acting was phenomenal by all 3 leads. It was stunning, and beautiful. Made me want to have a story like all 3 of them, and make friends they way they did.

Watch this movie if you want something different, but also warm and friendly. It's like a new genre that has yet to be recognized. It's phenomenal, and if you watch it you'll know why.

Making a Murderer (2015–2018)

Dateline/ 20/20 fans? Psht, this is the real deal.

An amazing documentary series focusing on a young man who went to jail for a horrid 18 years, for a crime he did not even commit. 2 years later, the nightmare had only begun.

I drew me to this show was the trailer on YouTube. I watched it and just assumed this was about a man who went to jail wrongfully and then somehow made a mistake and just went back to jail. Didn't realize that what I would end up watching would just be a total and utter mess. Not speaking of the show, but the situation. Nothing about this case made sense, and if you watch you will probably agree with me. At times I catch myself thinking if the show was even real, or maybe based on a fictional story because of how absurd the details were leading up to each investigation.

This is one of the best documentary series I have ever watched. You gain a real connection to the Avery family, not only the case, but the members of the family and Steven Avery himself. It's truly incredible how the family handles every situation, with all seriousness but remaining utterly and completely calm. It's quite remarkable.

The only reason I gave it a 9/10 is because of the lengthy episodes and how the material can get quite confusing with all the different people's names, and the dragged on scenes of the officers/attorneys speaking about each different situation. In a couple episodes in the middle, I felt my self getting lost in the crazy scenarios and different accusations.

This show is the epitome of criminal injustice and will probably leave you with your eyes wide open of the things that really go on in this world. Watch it for yourself, you won't be disappointed.

Could've been so much better!
10 April 2015
Don't usually do reviews, however, I felt that since this was the first time I read such great reviews on a horror movie I should give my input being a horror movie fan. This was definitely worth the watch, different from the normal ghost in the house, demon lurking, and being possessed and having exorcisms. It brought to live another genre of themes for horror movie which was definitely refreshing!

Didn't understand why the random nudity was used at parts, bc the parts in the movie when the people had clothes on were just as disturbing as when they were naked. Didn't really prove an effective point.

I say it could've been better because there were a few main jump scared throughout the film and various scares however mostly, it was fear of anticipation and the audiences mind concentrated on what the heck was going on at certain times.

It also gave a weird vibe considering that this ghost or follower came about by passing it on through sexual intercourse, very odd and strange. The only down side is that this movie end TERRIBLBY. When I say terrible, I mean that I can easily say it was one of the worst endings of a movie I've seen in a while. Absolutely horrible. Notjing was answered, and it was one of those movies where you watching and waiting for something to happen and it just ends. And you sit back and think "there's no way that can be the ending," clearly knowing it obviously is. It was awful, and no questions were answered. Hoping for a sequel.
