All You Can Eat (2013)
Painful
Well my review is on a partial watch of the Buffet episode,I say this up front because the show seemed to be done very well, it had great information, that is until the host appears, John Pinette, and he never went away! He has got to be the world's most irritating person on the planet!
He tries being funny but it's like they should have a sound machine of groans...except worse AND then as the good stuff plays they insert this guy to make a stupid sound or face, they should have just added farts or something it would have been better.
Example of a joke: If a buffet was to run out of crab legs, we would tell them to be calm... but we have ran out of crab legs *starts kind of shaking like he might have a heart attack but wasn't given enough money to make it look like one* (too much work whew!) Well we can't take it anymore we are leaving!
Yeah it wasn't word for word but really more lame to see it happen then just reading this horrible example. He was trying to make a joke but worse than a professional actor can fake making a bad joke.
So moral of the story if your a fan boy of this horrible comic, go ahead and watch it, if you want good TV it maybe there but ruined by this stab in the side every 2 seconds of seeing and/or hearing this guy.
Whodunnit? (2013)
Well done!
Well I didn't know what to expect but I was happy with the show.
I think the concept is great, a group of people in a murder mystery, with the person that comes up with the story that is least like what actually happened dying in the next episode.
A few things I really like about how it all works.
1. The people get to decide to go to one of three areas, place the victim was before death, place where the person died, and the morgue. AND only 1 of these places, so they must try to either team up, extract info, overhear info etc to learn the rest of the story. This dynamic is perfect for the "real world" type of TV show. 2. Strategy plays a huge role, not to mention skill in observation. 3. The effects and reenactment is incredible! Really this adds a ton to the show.
I had to write this review because I saw another review with 1-star from a totally biased person, that doesn't like this type of show anyway....like someone not liking football and reviewing the Superbowl a 1-star. AND he mentioned not actually eliminating the people? HAHA! Yeah sorry people don't actually die in this show!
