Great Story
23 February 2005
This is a totally different story from the everyday stuff they show on TV all the time.

Christoph (Mark Keller) meets Katharina (Maria Kekidou)at the Club Hotel Marengo - were he starts working as an inciter (host)for the new show and she works as a receptionist. They fall in love instantly and can't be separated for more than a few hours from this moment on.

They have a lot of adventures together with there friends who work also at the club. They all move from the club in Greece to the one in Tunis and from there to the Canary Islands and to Turkey, to Sri Lanka and back to Greece.

Christoph and Katharina get married and have a son together but they also have lots of relationship problems because of their hard jobs.

Great story, great characters, great scenery.

A must see for people who yearn to go abroad or have been there already.

Phantastic Movie!!!
4 February 2005
I have seen this movie when I was about 7 years old - which was 33 years ago - and I never forgot this movie! I was deeply touched and moved by the brave little boy and the beautiful eagle. And I just couldn't believe it when he turned into an eagle just when everyone in the theater thought he was going to die...

My sister was in the movie with me and I asked her recently if she remembered the movie we saw with the boy and the eagle and she said she remembered it like we saw it only yesterday. So it isn't just me.

This movie is a MUST SEE !!!

You will never forget it - just like my sister and me...

I love this movie!!!
4 January 2005
I can't see that this movie is too long or slow.

The story is wonderful and supposed to be true... The pictures and costumes and people are beautiful. The king is great (I'd like to meet a king like that). Anna is a bit stiff but she plays an English woman and they are supposed to be like that (in this century)! The kings little daughter (monkey) is absolutely charming.

Over all it's a very good movie and good entertainment. And I'm sure many people feel just the same way...

If you don't just love this movie you have no idea of true romance...

I recommend "must see"!!!

The best movie I have ever seen!!!
4 January 2005
Why? Because it's extremely funny (I laughed until I cried), it's sad, it's never boring and you can see this happening to any of your friends any day in any place...

The heroine is no stunning beauty and the hero is no hunk but still they are cute, lovable and not at all ugly (just like your favorite teddy bear). You would feel comfortable among them.

The story is simple and everything seems genuine. I know a few Greek people and watching this movie was like sitting beside them at their house.

And the filming was done in Toronto my favorite city in the world...

What more is there for a great movie?
