This movie was really really good. The story telling was excellent and had me on the edge of my seat throughout the entire movie. Literally from 10 minutes in I couldn't stop watching. I watched it with my wife and both of our heads were just blown. Ethan Hawke and Sarah Snook were just incredible. This is the best movie I have seen in a long time. It had everything. Great character development. Great story line. Great acting. Great twist. Just an overall great movie! If you have any reservations about seeing this or if its worth your time/money, please do yourself a favor, watch this movie and prepare to have your mind blown!

I honestly don't understand people on here. If you read the synopsis, you know what type of movie you are about to see (and the fact that it's rated R). In all fairness, this movie is well scripted, directed, and acted. I thought there were several great performances and some HILARIOUS scenes! I mean I can see if you're like really pessimistic about everything and don't enjoy raunchy comedy, but you hopefully knew what you were getting before you sat down and watched this. Aubrey Plaza really knocks it out of the park with her dry humor and satirical comedy style. I LOVE her on Parks and Rec and I love her in this movie! It's just a good, funny, teenish movie you can sit down on a Friday night and enjoy. There's really just not a lot to hate about it.

I don't often watch any television show that isn't on HBO or Showtime, and I don't often write reviews unless I absolutely love or hate something, but this show is by far one of the best I have ever seen, if not THE best. From the character development, to the story line, to unexpected turns, this show has it all! Kevin Spacey absolutely kills it! I don't ever remember being THIS wrapped up in a TV series except for maybe The Sopranos or Game of Thrones. The other night, I started watching at around 9:00 PM and I COULD NOT STOP WATCHING! I ended up going to bed at 4:30 in the morning, which made for a rough Monday, but it was well worth it. If you have any doubts on whether or not you should devote your time, please take my advice and watch this show. It will bring drama and excitement to your life in ways that you never thought were possible from watching a TV show.

This movie was incredible! The dialogs, the drama, the storyline, characters, everything! It was entertaining until the credits rolled. Brie Larson and John Gallagher Jr were terrific! The problems and the situations were a bit out there, but you know that stuff like that probably happens. I thought it was raw, real, and sharp. The emotions that arose in me while watching this were really overwhelming at times and I also thought the children played their roles really well. I tried to find something that I didn't like about this movie but I honestly couldn't. This definitely should have been up for some academy's/golden globes and I was really surprised that it wasn't even nominated. I know that it killed in the festivals, but wow. Just a great movie. If you had any hesitation about whether or not to see this, I promise you, it is not a waste of your time.

I get this movie maybe being a high 6 or low 7, but a 5.3?? That's just crazy! I loved most of what this movie offered. It had a great story line, in-depth characters, and a great setting. Honestly, I was just refreshed from having to see another sub-par superhero movie, but I digress. I really liked JT and Batfleck in this movie. Both of the characters had a lot of depth to them as well as some mystery. I'll give it to you that the ending was sort of predictable, but I didn't think that it made the movie any weaker.. I thought the Costa Rica and online gambling ideas that the movie was based on were really fresh, new, and something of worth. I also really enjoyed the corruption bits of it as well. The cast in this movie, I thought, did a really good job.. And every hole was filled pretty much. I don't know what else you really expect in a movie.

I honestly feel like this movie's rating should be way higher than what it is. I thought that the movie was incredible and is definitely one that kept me on the edge of my seat! From the beginning, you get great character knowledge and some back story as to where things are going in the story. The plot line is just amazing! I loved the whole inside look at legal marijuana in California as well as the Mexican cartel portion. Some parts of this movie were absolutely terrifying! And some were quite heart warming.. Overall, it was just a great mix that really kept me entertained the entire way through! I've always been an Oliver Stone junky and he really nailed this one to the wall. I created an account just because I looked up this movie and saw that it's rating was under a 7! The problem with IMDb is right here, people writing their opinions unknowingly persuading someone else to not go out and see an awesome movie. People - if you haven't seen this, it is definitely worth your time and money, at the very least, you will be entertained. With all of the new movies coming out and worthless remakes appearing everywhere, this movie restored some of my faith in Hollywood. Lastly, I thought the cast was brilliant! Really liked John Travolta and Benicio Del Toro's rolls in this! Please don't let the bad reviews fool you, this movie is fantastic and a MUST-SEE!
