The Tomorrow War (2021)
Solid story that keeps you on the edge of the seat
I don't get the critics criticizing this movie to death. It's a solid sci-fi story and delivers everything it promised - good characters, thrills, alien guts, and big explosions. It's not going to win any of those weirdo indie awards, but who cares? It was a great, solid, thoroughly entertaining blockbuster!
Hunters: Eilu v' Eilu (2020)
Did NOT see that coming!
Props to David Weil for writing one of the most spectacular season finales I've ever watched! I literally could not have guessed as to what happened, and... it left me just as gutted as the characters were.
Hunters (2020)
Gripping and Gut-Wrenching
This show is amazing. It highlights the Jewish struggle in such an honoring way even though it fictionalization events - but that's typical when telling a fictional story about historical events. Lerman's performance is groundbreaking.
I was hooked within the first minute. The show is violent, intense, and builds on itself with each episode. It's got such a cool aesthetic being set in the 70s. And the ensemble cast is very entertaining.
Call Me by Your Name (2017)
Propoganda
A movie about a sexual relationship between a 24-year-old man and a 17-year-old boy based on a book written by a man who confessed to be sexually attracted to 12-year-old girls? Are you serious? This is disgusting! I can't believe there are people actually supporting this trash.
Sanctuary: Fugue (2011)
A Unique and Enjoyable Episode
To be perfectly honest, "Fugue" was one of my absolute favorite Sanctuary episodes. Why? Because it was so unique. People have claimed that the musical aspect of this episode is cheesy. Maybe so, but still, this episode was enjoyable and fun.
I am a huge fan of Amanda Tapping's and all of the actors really, and I also love music, so it was a pleasant surprise to get to see all of them sing! I can only imagine how fun it was for them to perform for that episode.
Not only was it enjoyable, but "Fugue" was also a climactic point in Will and Abby's relationship. Both of them finally admitted their love for each other in an emotional, heart-wrenching scene.
I could watch this episode over and over again!
