Anger Management (2003)
Funny comedy
This is a funny movie. When my husband and I went to see it in the theater we were actually laughing out loud. And it was not just us, it was everybody in the theater. Someone looking for a deep and meaningful plot will not find what they are looking for, however it is one of the best plots of all the Adam Sandler movies. It would also not be for anyone who would easily get offended by off-color jokes. Jack Nicholson is hilarious as the Anger Management therapist. He has some of the funniest parts in the whole movie. Adam Sandler is not to shabby himself as the not angry guy learning to be angry through a series of seemingly unfortunate and random events.
If you are an Adam Sandler fan or a fan of the screw ball comedy, you will love this movie.
Queen of the Damned (2002)
horrible horrible movie
This has to be one of the worst movies I have ever seen, and I have seen a lot of movies. I am a great fan of Anne Rice. In fact Queen of the Damned is my favorite of the Vampire chronicles.
This movie in no way even resemble the book. In fact, I don't even think the script was written using the book. Hardly anything that happens in this movie actually happen in any of the vampire chronicles.
Putting that aside, did this movie even have a plot? Or a story line at all? It was so hard to follow, nothing made sense. someone needs to give the writer a copy of the book and teach him the definition of a vampire,
If anyone is interested in the story of the queen of the damned, I highly recommend reading the book. Burn this movie.
Lost (2004)
gripping, heart pounding drama
This is one o the best shows ever on T.V. Not only it is exciting, It keeps you guessing and thinking. Just when you think you know what is going on, you find out you were wrong.
The more I watch this show the more I love it. It really reals you in and keeps you there. Also, the more you watch, the more you come to realize that there is something seriously wrong with this island! This show is more griping than all the other dramas on TV right now, possibly ever. It is so unpredictable, crazy unbelievable and totally outrageous things happen every episode. Yet, it is totally believable and realistic.
I recommend this show to anyone, it will have you laughing, will have your heart pounding , will have you perched on the edge of your seat and left open mouthed at the end of each episode.
The Backyardigans (2004)
Great show for preschoolers.
My daughter (3 years old) absolutely loves this show. It immediately replaced the old standbys (-dora, blues clues ex) as her favorite show. She loves to get up and try to copy the kids dancing during the songs. It really gets her up and moving. After watching the 'pirate treasure' episode she spent a week pretending she was a pirate! This show knows how to get a child's imagination working!
This is a fun, educational, creative and very entertaining show. It really knows how to captivate an audience.
The show is entertaining for me too. The songs are great, real musical quality. As a parent, I appreciate a show like this. One that my daughter can enjoy and doesn't drive me crazy!
