In this film it is shown how today American reality develops between science and pot tripping, rulers taken from enterteinment industry (liberals in this case), burocrats doing their jobs in comfort and a youth uncapable of anything but of doing a thing but puke or gasp for air amid trivial things compared to the main event that seems about to happen without anyone really caring.

I enjoyed the film, no matter the accuracy of the facts; it send me to do some research and to know many things of the Dutch past and people. I am not Dutch but I do have a Dutch nephew and niece and the movie made me feel near them.
On the artistic matter, the photography was great, the rain effect was so uncomfortable I now understand why my sister enjoys the sunny days. I liked the details on the costumes and the way the actors portrayed their characters
