La casa de papel (2017)
Spoiler!... It began interestingly...
It began very interestingly. A heist is a very risky operation. Everyone who attempts to commit a crime (SPOILER) twice, should understand the risks of the endeavor. (SPOILER) But to kill nai... What tha heck man! Kill tokio! Im giving it 2 stars because nairobi was included in the cast.
Designated Survivor: #identity/crisis (2019)
Young admiral
That admiral was way too young to be an admiral. I think it takes a longer time to achieve that rank in the military.
Designated Survivor: #makehistory (2019)
Sex and cursing
Two persons having sex under bed sheets and lots of cursing. Afger watching the first two seasons I was surprised with this episode. This is not the tv show I began watching. Something changed... Very similar to 'the man in the high castle'.
Unplanned (2019)
Well done
Well done movie. I liked the book and the mpvoe follows it, though with less details. I wish they had spent more time on the legal battle that followed her leaving her job at PP, but I liked the movie. I wonder if anyone ever died while she was at the clinic, because no deaths were portrayed in the film. Maybe they can do a whole new movie depicting rhe legal process. I would watch that one too. Very, very few cheesy moments. Both sides should watch thia movie. It was very moving the scene where the director prevents them from calling an ambulance to the clinic. Also when they were asked to elevate the number of abortions at the clinics. It shows the real nature of PP.
The Enemy Within (2019)
Female Blacklist
It looks like the female version of The Blacklist... I still like it. Jennifer Carpenter is pretty intense.
Mile 22 (2018)
Infuriating. Spoilers
The trailer was so good that I spent a couple of months salivating over this movie. Also mark w. has not dissapointed in the past. The movie has a good story and it keeps you at the edge of your seat, but the end is just infuriating. It builds up (you see an effort from the, specisl forces team) and you expect something good... It was not necessary for it to end like that.
La Lucha de Ana (2012)
The struggle of a destitute woman against her son's killer and the country's judiciary
People say that reality is stranger than fiction... And more painful I would add. This movie presents the life of a woman who lives in a slum in the Dominican Republic.
Ana is a very humble single mother whose only goal in life is to help her son grow up and become a good man. She works selling flowers in a popular market. Her only son is a remarkable student, and achieves to reach 16 years of age without getting caught in the snares of drugs, crime or violence.
But living in the slums usually means to interact with criminals, and some of those criminals are either your friends or friends with someone in your family. That is exactly the reason why, as the result of a misunderstanding, Ana's son is shot and killed by the son of a wealthy and powerful family.
This is just the beginning of the difficulties that Ana will face. Throughout the movie we will discover that in her country Justice does not run at the same speed for everyone. And that the police needs a little bit more than just facts to quickly resolve a situation.
The death of her son, put together with the shortcomings of the judicial system, greatly disappoints Ana who, as a growing majority in her country, thinks that to truly obtain justice, you must take it with your own hands.
As a bonus we will also see what the police usually means when it says that a criminal died in a crossfire.
