Laal Kaptaan (2019)
Nothing as you may expect.
I was expecting typical Bollywood, but to my pleasant surprise it is something beyond. finally a production and director have come together to evolve beyond the set parameters. Well actors are to be applauded for the performance too.
It's something really special.
Terminator: Dark Fate (2019)
A really good Terminator movie.
This movie really follows the footsteps of the terminator one and two, now for many new to the franchise it may not mean much. But for those of us who grew up with the poster of Arnie on our wall's as a Terminator, it was a really good conclusion.
Sure they may bring him back but this is a whole new arc and, in essence this transfer's the baton to next generation.
I know there are plot holes and with any story from the eighties it is kind of a unreal to expect them to cover each and every aspect of it, i for one did not care for it.
its a follow up to a franchise which is living for more than 4 decades among the viewers, it is bound to have a gaps due to different people being the part of it.
Just enjoy it, and cherish Arnie in his element for those are not many and come very far apart.
I have grown from a kid to a teenager and a father, with this franchise, for the kids of my generation kick back have a cold one and relive the thrilling experience once again.
thank you for taking the effort and time to make this.
The end score in credits was AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!
Shaft (2019)
Delivered fresh, minty, crude, rude old school cool devil may care fun.
This is what action flick is about, it is not pretending to appease, please, or fit in a mold, but rather the imperfections are what makes it what it is.
Had a gala of time watching this, not to mention that is was the delivery of Samuel L. Jackson which carries it to higher plane of cinema fun.
Watch it for what it is and what you expect of a action flick.
One of best production in this year for me and yes that is accounting Spiderman far from home or other Marvel movies released so far.
Stardust (2007)
One of the most wonderful movie if not the best.
The most underrated movie of out times.
It has the fantasy, it has the villains, but most of all it has the element which makes it the most beautiful of all, the things which makes us human.
Robert De Niro is wonderful in his role, one of his exemplary performances, loved it.
Just watch it when you need a pick me up in life.
we all need a little stardust in our life.
Thank you for making this movie.
P.S. you will not believe your eyes when you see Henry Cavill.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 (2017)
wow the critics...
Now i am beat as a drunken monkey when i watched this but..... the reviews i read on various sites do not do justice to this adventure. Its not what you would expect from a sequel but is what you think it would be. i know that does not make any sense but this movie is in a category of it's own.I mean i cannot even fathom to imagine i can do justice to this in my review.
This is Marvel at its best.watch this when are really on the verge. Best pick me up for the lost souls. i may have made no sense at all but that is life itself sometimes it does not make sense....... do save it for when are truly lost.
Ae Dil Hai Mushkil (2016)
For Old Souls
Just watch it when you have nothing to do, and are little blue. Nothing else to say after so much time has passed since its release but, i will say it is beautiful. The actors, moments, all that. Many have reviewed it and its true what they say, but everything in this movie comes together so naturally, its like the rhythm of the past has taken a more relevant newer form but the emotions are the same. Experience a little of devdas, Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, any many others. just watch without inhibitions and have fun.
The Do-Over (2016)
Its Adam Sandler at his best.
Adam sandler....... you either love his work or hate it.
For me it is a relief like on mid summers afternoon; which is provided by a cool beer. Life in itself is too short, and this movie delivers that message with a punch. you looking for shakes'perian drama, or Quentin Tarantino's mystical direction, you are missing the message. It's Adam Sandler at his best after the Growns up's.
It's classic in terms of his way of doing movies. i will not spoil it with details but only a suggestion watch when you are burned out and have some time with a cold one.
Its the most irrational, fun, adult entertainment to bring your spirits up.
Peace out brothers.
Furious 6 (2013)
Just one word, Breathless!
This is "THE" Movie. I am a big fan of the franchise and hence also the biggest critic of the series.
Let me explain, what i meant by saying that it is "The" movie, was that this titles redeems all the shortcomings and complains i had from previous titles. From the beginning to the end i was drawn into the universe of "Dom Toretto". As the story progressed i was completely mesmerised by the characters and the scenes.
Justin Lin is my new hero he made me remember what was it like watching John woo in my teens. Thank You. For making me remember what it felt like, to be the Kid in the movie "Last Action Hero".
The magic of Hollywood truly shines in this title, there is a trend of CGI (computer generated graphic's)dominating the movies in some titles, this one particularly justifies each and every one of them without making you feel that the CGI was intended to carry the movie. Even with all the action, the undercurrent of "emotion" is what i truly enjoyed, the way Dom feels about the Family, or how the equation between him and Hobb's has evolved over time, was simply brilliantly showcased. It was like in the 2002 movie "Big Fat Liar" the climax had a dialogue by actor John Cho, "I told you Marty, the only way to shoot this scene was from seven different angles, on the rooftop". And it applies truly to this whole epic. From Dwayne Johnson to all the cast this was one brilliant performance. the score in itself was subtly and yet in a adrenaline rising way suited the movie in true spirit without overshadowing the scenes themselves, it never felt out of place rather it enhanced the whole experience to a whole new level. And this something coming from a guy who loves blues over heavy metal.
Watch this without any disturbance, or better put; causing hindrance to this movie's showcase should be made an criminal offence.
