This is the best cartoon movie I saw in the last few years. Surely a movie for adults, you'll find it out in the first 2 minutes where the body count starts raising, and rockets to the sky.

Hope this wont take away anyones appetite watching it, because this is a movie with lots of black humor, beautifully graphics, lots of action.

The good guys are violent hoodlums who want to get rich by selling drugs on the black market, the bad guys are the diaper gang, the police is the tyrannic force in the city. The power source of the future is human feces. And the state collects it and rewards the people with addictive juicy bars.

The funniest characters are the ant like diaper gang members. They are the addicts of the drug that can be received after defecation. These poor guys/girls (they have no longer any sex) need the juicy bars, but because they cannot defecate they have to find other ways to get the desired food. In their efforts they loose their live by the dozens. Mostly because of the cyborg police officer Geco. He is like Robocop, defying the laws of physics, mainly with unlimited ammo usage. The diaper gang calls themselves orphans of the city. Their small size, and as they act I think they are like kids turned into addicts. (Despite the original story that they were normal citizens.) The rest of the characters are bad guys too: Aachi and Ssipak are always arguing on something. They are marauders attacking people on the toilet. Beautiful the woman is a porn star, or prostitute. The leader of the police is much like an angry chiwawa: a little blonde girl, shouting with her inferior officers.

Overall: lots of action, lots of location, good storyline, weird ideas.

This is one of the best movies I've ever seen. A must watch move. The story is simple, the enemy is coming, and you are not allowed to do the maximum to protect your land.

The battles so intense you want to push the enemy back with your own shield. According to the historians the battles in ancient battlefields looked like we've seen in this movie. Shield to shield, and some stab to the enemy. The characters do not develop, why should they? This is not the movie you if you want to see deep thoughts, or great characters: go to a video store and get a Lars von Trier Movie. There are good guys and bad guys, and traitors, monsters, what else do we need?

Many people say that the history was different: this is not the history! This is the way the Spartans wanted to see this event. Iranians now can say that this is propaganda, but they forget that this movie was written years ago, by Frank Miller, so the present day conflicts do not affected this movie.

I'd really like to see a movie about the next battle: the Battle at Salamis. Some historians say that was the history changing battle. (If Xerxses would win there, that would result the end of democracy, and the modern Europes base.)

This movie is probably could be nominated for the worst movies ever made. At least they could change the title. There is simply no relation with the original story. The shame begins at the first minute. One of the best black joke "Who wants to live forever?" is presented in the most disappointing way: followed by a wink! The CGIs are the leftover of the first movie. But the bugs are sauntering without any clue where are the humans, just to get killed. The problem with the characters is not their payment, they are OLD! The original movie was about the youth is trying to defend humanity.

So if you want to watch a movie: choose the original again.

Not an ordinary thriller. Low budget, a few but good actors, a good story.

A university professor, finds his wife nowhere one day. This is the first moment to loose his connection with real life. Insomnia drives him crazy, by seeing, hearing things that never happened, or totally unreal.

Even the loss of his wive could be a hallucination.

The movie is a bit like The Forgotten, but having no UFO-s or alike supernatural events. And this is even more fearful, that humans can experience. With a little insomnia.

despite the disappointing ending it worth at least 8 of 10.

So this was my favorite cartoon movie for years. In this world the cats are the top predators, but they live side by side with the terrorized mice. When the Internouse have no more chance to stop the robberies of the Mafia like cats, they call their forgotten agent: Grabovski.

The speeches are very ironic, and funny. Some could be translated: -Remember what Julius Caesar said? -The guy who smuggled heroine in his wooden leg?? -Sure......

I don't want to involve politics, but it was visible that the cats looked like the west: tweeds, smoking Cuban like smoke, champagne etc. The good boy mice: presented the eastern block: uniforms, cigarettes....

I can only recommend for all family who want to have a good day. No blood, violence sometimes funny, but never aggressive as a Tom and Jerry.

What happens if a women (bestseller krimi writer) decide to invite all her boyfriends, for a dinner, to choose a husband? All four knows that they become opponents, and to get the desired women they might hurt each other. I guessed this will be the outcome. But movie makers have a bigger fantasy. Claire, the heroine, (no not the drug) kills them one by one. Accidents happen all the time, but so fatal ones! So funny that hurts! Than the police arrives in the figure of the usual police duo: a small stupid, and the tall ice cold look detective. When the police left arrives the party, with all components of it: dancing men and women, most of them drunken, or in a deep depression. They find the dead grooms, but don't discover them. After the party comes to an end, the two robbers arrive. Than the detectives back.

The movie ends with a good outcome, you think. The dead bodies disappear and everybody goes home, police leave, ST as the robbers. But than comes the last twist the last joke not to forget the beginning.

So go to the video store and enjoy!

The storyline calculable, but enjoyable. How become Anakin the biggest villain of cinema history? How disappear the Jedi order? What weakened the republic?

For the background there is one word: eye-candy. The surroundings of the story started to look like the original trilogy. Starships look almost the same. (There is the possibility to remake the entire movie.)

The opening scene is the biggest orbital battle ever made. CGIs are state of the art, the top is still the droid leader Grievous. You can't discover that the clones are CGIs too, their moves are too human like. The good habit that the good guys are falling during the battles is back. (The Phantom menace was disappointing. Only droids lost during the battles.) Fight scenes are even better and faster than they were in the Attack of the clones. (A four handed robot against one Jedi was inartistically choreographed.)

Go to the cinema and enjoy the magic!

I liked this movie, as most people I talked to about it. The movie is funny because most of Hungary's gangsters have the same brain capacity, and fantasy to solve a problem. Give a simple work to a bunch of idiot's but don't tell them that their payment is ridiculous compared to their jobs benefit. If they finished the half of the work, they realize what they have in their hands is a map to a treasure, they start and amok run for a crazy payment. Give a bunch of professional treasure hunters, with some high-tech stuff, a guy who is searching for the same jewel.

The main character is Theseus I think but Arpa Attila should choose somebody with more acting skills. The love-story is ridiculously bad, but this is not the movie why we buy our ticket. The bandits played by guys who appeared in commercials where they played mafia band, so Hungarian public know their face. Their mind is weird, and very simple: they kill a guy at the beginning with nicotine patches. The ultra crazy member of the band, (a psycho killer: name Psycho) appears on the screen, by blasting a brick wall and making a glimpse that you'll never forget.

A bunch of average teenager fights for freedom in the soviet occupied US war-zone.

I love that movie, despite Hungary was the enemy in those years. But for Hungarians, with many European nations, Soviets were invaders (, after they didn't let the people to make their own decisions).

The previous post were full of political arguments. (Even those who rated the movie above average.) I think that most users didn't really categorized this movie well. Partisan movies were made in Yugoslavia, during the cold war, remembering their heroic fight against the Nazis in the WW2. I think somebody watched this in the US and said: "We don't have this! I want!"

The story is well written, but some scenes are calculable. Soviets invade the US? Well this could only happen in the writers mind (intellignece), but the way of invasion was realistic. Soviet-American friendship cafeteria, well organized propaganda........ The characters could be your schoolmate, neighbor, so you can emphasize with them. They have feelings (Finally they are not the absolute perfect guys): they have fears, big moments and boys cry even more than girls.

The soviet technology was marching all over the place: Zu-23 anti-air tanks, T-72 or T-80's were in one battle, soviet manufactured APC's. And a rare soviet airplanes! (That they blew it up with a hand grenade.) Where the hell did they get them?

Overall, I can recommend to all nations youth: I think this is the best sample of patriotism. (Since the Yugoslavian partisans.)
