Spaceman (2024)
Interesting and beautiful.
I absolutely love sci-fi. This film was not so much about sci-fi. But I loved it anyway. Because I love these sort of dramas. The sci-fi was just a bonus.
If you're open-minded, don't need a lot of action to appreciate a film you might like this one.
Do you have the ability to appreciate the small things, then you might like this film. Even if you don't like Adam Sandler.
Adam Sandler was perhaps funny when I was younger and not so much now. But I think Adam Sandler really have a talent for these kind of roles. Don't dismiss it because of your disliking of Adam Sandler.
I recommend that you see it at least once. That applies to every movie out there. You can always stop watching it any time.
Rick and Morty: Night Family (2022)
I loved it.
It wasn't like the usual more "upbeat" Rick and Morty episode where they go off and have an adventure. It was darker and almost took place at one location throughout the episode. But don't get me wrong, it still had a lot of funny moments in it and a bit of action as well.
I think it was quite creative and the concept was great.
The soundtrack was also good.
The only negative about the episode is that it was too short. I would have loved to see at least 40 minutes episode of this .
And sure, you can always find plot holes, but it is a animated show after all.
I say it is a good and fun filler episode so that's what I'm rating it on.
Sabrina the Teenage Witch: Beach Blanket Bizarro (2001)
Back to simpler and happy times.
I liked this episode. I'm not usually over excited about episodes with singing in them (just a few songs though) with a few exceptions. But this was the right theme for me.
And about Melissa Joan Harts "bad" singing mentioned by another reviewer, it suited the song very well in my opinion.
I wish I got to experience that time in the 60's. Made me nostalgic even though I was born much later.
Ragnarok (2020)
Surprisingly good.
I started out watching it because I wanted to learn more Norwegian.
As I watched it became clear that it was quite good and I watched all 6 episodes in 6 hours.
I couldn't help myself of comparing it a bit to the german tv-series Dark in it's
arrangement and mystery. (A tv-series I recommend as well.)
It also kind of reminded me of the tv-series Smallville.
How Clark Kent being a teenager, with all the drama that comes with being a teenager, is trying to finding out who he is.
The build up might be a bit slow for certain people. Not for me though.
And the music in it is really great.
Can't wait for a second season.
Lethal Weapon (2016)
To Matthew Miller and anyone connected to this show...!!!
BRING Clayne Crawford back.
Clayne Crawford made Lethal Weapon one of the greatest shows in a long time.
I grew up with Lethal Weapon and I can't even to begin to imagine a better Martin Riggs than Clayne Crawford. HE was the reason I was watching the show.
I'm not a gay man but I'm just in love with Clayne Craford's interpretation of Martin Riggs.
Lethal Weapon: In the Same Boat (2018)
The soul of the show is gone.
I really tried to give it a chance. But there's no soul anymore.
What made the show was Martin Riggs and his chemistry to everyone around him.
In every episode, by and large, I thought to myself, this is a damn good tv-series.
Briggs crazy ways to handle things, the action, the humor in tandem with Riggs rough moments in life - THAT was made this show not only great but amazing.
I'll give it a few more episodes and if I don't feel it after that, Lethal Weapon is over for me.
Rest in Peace Martin Riggs
The X Files: Rm9sbG93ZXJz (2018)
Brilliant.
Yes it's different, not the usual X-Files episode. I grew up with the 90's X-Files.
Be open-minded. Don't discard the episode just because it's different.
Even with the lack of dialogue it's hilarious and really gives you something to think about. This is our future with everything getting more and more robotized.
The moral of the episode: Be a good person and perhaps our future robots, AI:s, Androids, Synths, Cyborgs or whatever we´ll call them, will be good to us.
