Alpha and Omega 4: The Legend of the Saw Toothed Cave (2014)
Worst One Yet And Stop Making Sequels
Oh goodness not another awful Alpha and Omega sequel...stop making these please....
This one is easily the worst one. The third one had more irritating animation but aside from that this one is much worse.
~ It's not scary at all which is what it's supposed to be. How are we supposed to be scared by a ghost wolf that is never explained and hardly does anything other than glare at everything?
~ All of these first movie characters are practically poked fun at harshly. Kate is no longer the strong Alpha female like she was earlier, Humphrey isn't getting any more likable and Lily is supposed to be cute and funny which was never present through out this movie. The others are pointless.
~ It shows no interest in continuing the story ark. Where are those little animal creatures from the third movie?
~The writing is garbage and full of plot holes that makes this movie a huge mess.
~ The pups in this movie never listen to their parents and show n signs of respect for them at all. Those little things are the most aggravating characters in this movie.
These people have no idea what has happened in the first movie and yet they somehow do. Saw Tooth was the national park in the first movie where Kate and Humphrey were sent to. Why didn't they name this movie The Legend of Shadow Forest? That's where it takes place!
Please just stop making more sequels. No one asks for sequels and no one wants to see another horrendous Alpha And Omega movie. Just let these series of movies stop. Better late than never.
Alpha and Omega 2: A Howl-iday Adventure (2013)
A Holiday Sequel?
This movie just makes no sense and hardly follows the first movie.
~ The animation is just as bad or worse in this movie like it was in the first movie.
~ The new characters (mainly the pups) are annoying little brats that nobody wants to see.
~ Kate and Humphrey (Alpha and Omega) aren't responsible parents and can't do what needs to be done to make sure their children are safe.
~ The other characters have no development and are pointless to the plot.
~ The plot itself doesn't even have anything to do with Christmas. It's about saving their son from a 'group of rogues'. That doesn't say anything about how this has to do with Christmas. Plus, how do wolves even know what Christmas is?
~ This movie fails at being a Christmas movie. It doesn't even tell us what holiday it is until the Third Act. Say what you will about the Star Wars Holiday Special. At least they said the name of the holiday at the beginning of the movie.
This movie is awful and even fans of the original movie wouldn't like this. Everything good parts of the movie (there weren't many) were thrown away and in doing that we got this movie. Alpha and Omega fans stick with the original and anyone else just stay away from this movie all together.
Alpha and Omega 3: The Great Wolf Games (2014)
Just When You Think It Couldn't Get Worse
I'm baffled that there is another sequel. How did we start off with a poor box office film and end up getting three sequels?
This movie didn't even tell us how the Alpha and Omega (along with their pups) got back home after the last movie. That's a warning sign that these film makers are already giving up before the fight has begun.
~ The animation in this movie is teasing and appalling! Just watching the animals run feels like they're running in place and random parts of the movie pop in that didn't need to be there.
~ The new characters are annoying and aggravating to watch. I don't care about these guys one bit. Plus the voice acting sounds unpleasant.
~ The old characters are dull, tedious and flat. The pups keep getting more annoying every time and their parents seem to not be responsible enough to raise them with proper guidance. The other characters are pointless.
~The plot is a clique sports movie that just so happens to feature wolves. However why is it just a race movie? Why not do something else like a fighting competition, obstacle course or scavenger hunt? Why is it that I'm coming up with better ideas than people who get paid to have these ideas?
This movie simply didn't want to 'be the best that it can be' even if that's the moral of the story. Looks like you should take some of my advice: Before you go advising others to be the best they can be you need to look in a mirror first.
The Oogieloves in the Big Balloon Adventure (2012)
The rating is wrong and so is this movie
Right now the rating is 7.3 and it could change after I finish this review. (I hope if it does change it will drop down)
You know how people don't like some shows like Dora, Barney and Teletubbies?
Imagine combining all these ideas together and make it ninety minutes long. That's this movie.
Why was this released in theaters? This looks like a direct to DVD release in the 99 cent bin at Walmart or a movie they would show on PBS.
~ The characters are all forgettable and annoying. The lip-syncing with the Oogie Loves themselves is a failure.I feel so bad for the actors they roped into this thing. I don't care if they lost a bet they shouldn't have to humiliate themselves in this.
~ The plot is stupid and could be easily solved if this movie wasn't padded with repeating sentences or pointless singing.
~ The songs in this movie come out of nowhere and they are horrible to listen to. It makes some of the horrible modern pop music sound like the Beetles.
~ This pacing is slower than any turtle I've ever seen. You have to keep repeating dialogue in this movie in order to continue the plot which is frustrating.
Nothing about this movie feels like they were actually trying to do their best. These filmmakers certainly didn't think about the target audience for this movie either. What is the moral of this 'story'? I didn't learn anything from this movie. I learned more from the Star Wars Holiday Special.
Show your kids better movies because this movie made me lose half my brain. Show them a movie like (for really little kids) Winnie the Pooh, Elmo in Grouchland or UP. Those are good family movies with great lessons. Not this. Your children deserve to see good movies and not this.
My Little Pony: Equestria Girls (2013)
Quality Comes First Before The Money
This movie was only made to make money like the Barbie Dolls or American Girl Dolls. Sadly though like Planes they worried more about the toys and less about the film which brings this movie crashing down.
~ There are plots in the movie that are never addressed. Example: Like Why did Celestia want to see Twilight Sparkle in the first place? Why couldn't she have asked/ tried to convince Principal Celestia to switch out the fake crown and the real crown?
~ The songs are forgettable pop songs that I wouldn't pay 99 cents for if they were on I-tunes.
~The plot is so clique that, it kind of hurts that this is related to My Little Pony. Tell me if this sounds familiar: a new female girl joins a school and has to become popular in order to beat the mean girl. So she gathers a team of unlikely heroes while bringing the school closer than ever. Yeah, that's what this story is. The TV show was creative with the mythology and how this world works in its own unique way. This is another boring high school movie that we've all seen before. Even the Barbie Diaries was more realistic. At least the pacing was better.
~ The characters in this movie are boring. Even Pinkie Pie isn't very funny in this movie. She can be crazy all she wants but crazy doesn't guarantee good comedy. The others are all boring one dimensional people/ ponies.
~ Like I mentioned before I think the pacing of this movie is its biggest downfall. One minute the girls are all mad and hate each other then the next thing they do is hug and laugh with each other. What is the point of having them as enemies if you were going to bring them together in less than a few minutes? Plus how does Twilight Sparkle resolve bringing the school together clique? By singing a song about working together clique. Sorry but that just seemed too out of place. I know in the show they sing but in this movie it doesn't work.
The reason I give it one star is that at least the animation is okay if not weird but aside from that skip the movie and go watch the cartoon.
(Also nothing that happens in this movie has any impact on the story ark in the show. They act like this movie never even happened.)
Van-pires (1997)
Uncreative mess
This story doesn't seem like it was told out of passion more like Transformers did so well so they were going to try and do the same thing. No wonder there was only one season!
~ The CG looks like an unappealing mess that makes the Go-bots look amazing.
~ The heroes are annoying whose dialog mostly consists of dumb car puns and no development into their characters.
~ The villains goal is so confusing. He wants to suck out all the gasoline and replace the world with Vanpires. What is he supposed to do when he achieves that goal? What would they do if humanity died and no one was left but Vanpires?
~ No logic makes sense in this world. How can that meteor turn a tricycle into a dog but humans into giant robots?
~ There's also many plot holes in this series. Like when the villain turned all these cars into Vanpires. However those cars are never mentioned again. Why?
I only gave it a star because the villains are somewhat entertaining.
So in conclusion, this is basically a bad rip-off of Transformers and if you DO watch it. Just know that there's no satisfying conclusion to what happens with the heroes and villains.
Yu-Gi-Oh! Zexal (2011)
Could Have Been Better And Could Have Been Worse
At this point in Yu-Gi-Oh history we should just accept the fact that they keep making these shows not out of love but out of wanting to sell more trading cards. That's what it was from the beginning and it's still continuing. Which is one of the TV shows biggest down falls. People not caring enough about the show and more about the product they sell. The main character Yuma Tsukumo is pretty annoying and even worse than Jaden Yuki from GX. At least Jaden could duel but Yuma needs help from an amnesic alien named Astral who should have replaced Yuma. The other characters are okay some are better than others like the two rivals. The animation is very nice to look at so that makes it easy on the eyes. I do enjoy the duels more in Yu-Gi-Oh Zexal. They don't feel like an eternity like the previous versions and honestly the story does flow alright with a few plot holes. So yeah it's basically what Yu-Gi-Oh GX should have been. I still believe that this is better than GX because of how entertaining it is but it does undergo from stereotypical characters, not the best (or worst) voice actors, annoying edits that anyone could clearly see and what irritates me more is how some of the duels were simply misunderstandings. However I still find it more engaging with the animation, some memorable characters, pleasant duels and charming story. Overall it's not bad but I feel as if it could have had more effort into it. So Yu-Gi-Oh classic fans please stop saying how bad this is. It has flaws but so did the other shows. So basically my summary is my conclusion: Could Have Been Better And Could Have Been Worse.
My Little Pony: Equestria Girls - Rainbow Rocks (2014)
I hate this movie
This movie is horrible! It's not as bad a the first movie but it's so close. The heroes are obnoxious to watch, the villains are horrible, the plot is too predictable, the songs are just pop garbage, there are so many plot holes and the worst problem is the pacing of this movie!
I admit that these are all issues I had in the first movie but the only reason this movie improved is because of Sunset Shimmer. She was an enjoyable character to watch because I wanted to see her succeed and get better. Frankly she would make a better character than Twilight Sparkle any day.
Sunset Shimmer is the only reason to I give this movie 1 of 10. Aside from that though there is no reason what so ever to go see this movie. It will waste your time and make the audience leave in disappointment. (No joke. The audience of bronies I had despised this movie)
This is just like with the first movie in that it's only purpose is left over table scraps from the show. The show is amazing and creative and in order to keep the fans patient for the next season they send us this mess! If that's true than I would feel insulted about this series!
Don't watch it because you're time is more valuable than anything this movie can offer you.
Maleficent (2014)
Interesting Idea Went HORRIBLE
I have seen lots of movies that have made me sad, angry and offended. Never though have I walked out of a movie though until this happened. I wasn't the only one though. My group of friends and I went to see this movie hoping it would depict the great evil Maleficent we all know and love! Instead when we get to the parts where she and Aurora becomes friends we all agreed to leave and buy to tickets to go see X-Men again. What have you done Disney? You turned one of your best evil villains and make her not evil for the reason why she is evil? Wouldn't that be like if Scar became Simba's cool uncle, Ursula wanting to help Ariel out of kindness or make Gaston the Best Man and Belle's wedding?! THAT DOESN'T HAPPEN! Plus why do we need some twirling mustache evil villain? And one more thing Disney you're not going to be arrested for trying to follow the fairytale story with females! Look I know they want the female to be more and do more than when people think Disney Princess but does every Disney movie now need to completely re-work the story in order to do that?! Enchanted did it decent but Tangled, Frozen and now this?! These stories have been told for centuries you're just trying to follow them and tell them the true story. The actors are great, the action is fun and the effects are good but that's it. Just think in ten years time. Which story will you remember most? Sleeping Beauty or Maleficent? The only benefit this movie will eve get for me and my friends is to remind us we have the original Sleeping Beauty to watch so we never, ever, ever, EVER have to watch this again! Amen to that!
Il fantasma dell'opera (1998)
Absolute Garbage
If you love the Gaston Leroux novel or The Andrew Lloyd Weber musical don't watch this!
This movie failed on every level!
~It tried to be scary and it FAILED ~It tried to be romantic and it FAILED ~It tried to be sad and it Failed (I Take that back the movie was pretty pathetic.)
If this movie was called anything else besides The Phantom of The Opera I wouldn't be so mad. I've seen other Phantom movies that are totally different yet still great to watch! (Phantom of The Paradise and Phantom of The Mall)
This one doesn't even follow closely to the Phantom story about: a young man is disfigured and hides himself from society yet falls in love with a beautiful movie. This movie can't even get that right!
The gore was okay(unnecessary at times) and so were the production designs but other than that this movie was a mess!
Even the ending was stupid too. It took the Phantom 7 shots and 2 stabbings before he could die?! WHAT?
Plus this movie has unlikable characters, pointless scenes, confusing scenes etc.
I'm sorry Dario but this is probably the worst Phantom movie I will EVER see.
Want true advice from a complete stranger who cares about you?
DON'T WATCH THIS MOVIE!!
