Another mindless shootem up film. Why are these bad ideas continually funded? Amazes me ....... Same thing , over and over. Jason statham has talent ..... why doesn't he do something that's worth watching? ?? Why is endless use of CGI considered " film making" . ?? A complete embarrassment to the profession. As for the story line , the most preposterous part of this " kill the bad guy" tale, is that, a United States president has a conscience . We would've rather seen a realistic portrayal of the crooked politician . I only watched this because my husband wanted to see it . Pretty much rolled my eyes the whole time.

Brilliant

Flanagan has brilliantly woven the modern day horror story of the Sackler family into the macabre works of Edgar Allen Poe. ....( I hope the sacklers watch this and prepare for karma).....It is captivating , beautiful and masterfully acted. ..... Bruce Greenwood is impeccable as Roderick Usher.....he carries each episode with elegance and style ..... Carla Cugino is haunting and beautiful as always.... She nails this role......I am a fan of all works of Flanagan ,....but this one rises above them all .....all the actors deserve a nod , ....and I will be watching the series again ..... if you are a true horror fan , don't miss it !

Chemistry !
11 July 2023
Warning: Spoilers
Love this show . Lead characters are impeccable. Demet Ozdemir is a born comedian. This girl reminds me of the late great Lucille Ball. Her facial expressions and hand gestures are perfection . She is , of course , a striking beauty , so easy to watch . However , a singer and dancer she is NOT..... her true talent is acting . Yaman is eye candy for sure , and their chemistry is dynamic . His character Can Divit, made him an international star. His other roles were mediocre and lack luster .My only complaint with the series is that we never see Yigit exposed as burning the book , nor the walking cane pretense . The Turkish censor laws are also irritating . All in all , a great watch. I will always remember this engaging couple .
Shiv!

Warning: Spoilers
Shiv is my favorite character. She is completely broken at the end , refusing to allow her addled brother to beat her, even if it means surrendering her family company to her estranged husband . As devastated as Shiv is over this turn of events, she knows that the world still sees her as married , and she is justifying toms position by pretending that he got the job because he is her husband . She will ride the " wife of CEO " title, while hoping to eventually reclaim the company for herself and her child . A fantastic conclusion to this groundbreaking series . It will go down in the books as one of the BEST.

Beyond imagination
7 December 2022
Warning: Spoilers
This documentary is beyond anything I can comprehend . This family has decided to use a scientific approach in dealing with their daughters death. Maybe they cannot emotionally deal with the sadness . Maybe they really believe this resurrection will happen in the future . In the meantime , they have horribly burdened their young son with this driven " purpose " in his life . And what about the future generations of this family? Are they suppose to continue with this costly upkeep of the dehydrated brain of an ancestor? I am shocked after watching this show. But then , I suppose the family would consider me to be uneducated, or not a progressive thinker . I just think it's sad.

Unbelievable
24 September 2022
I didn't even want to watch this. I have NEVER seen anyone play Elvis well ( or any other actor for that matter, popular stars have no business trying to become other popular stars ) . Butler was incredible. And he doesn't even look like Elvis! His portrayal was spot on , and honestly , unnerving . Supporting cast is good , and Tom Hanks is spectacular as ever. Apparently , some of the story line wasn't historically correct , but that's ok , typical Hollywood . An Oscar is definitely in order for Butler , and hopefully Hanks as well. If you are an Elvis fan , this should not be missed ....enjoy !
Leah Remini: Scientology and the Aftermath
(2016–2019)
Too repetitive
20 December 2021
First of all , cults prey on the weak. Are there that many weak millionaires out there? It costs a fortune to join , when you can read Hubbard's books at any library for free . Second, what religion employs an entire task force to stalk and harass members that have chosen to leave? This documentary clearly paints Scientology in a bad light, but again , most documentaries are one sided .

It's a Hollywood story people!
30 December 2020
All these reviewers , boasting of their historical knowledge ....pleeeeez Get over yourselves !!! This is a Hollywood production , not a classroom lesson. The costumes , the scenery , the acting ... this is what film making is about . If you don't like it , go read an encyclopedia.

He's a seasoned liar
27 February 2020
A closet bisexual is a seasoned liar. He's been lying for so long , he does it as easily as breathing . He lied when they first confronted him about the affair . He lies continuously throughout the entire documentary. He killed her , he's lying .Again.
