I just wish I'd found Craig on the LLS sooner!
16 January 2006
I absolutely LOVE the LLS show with "TV's Craig Ferguson"! He's hilarious! I used to watch Dave and/or Leno at times, but they just couldn't hold my interest--and didn't make me laugh much (although I loved Dave's "stupid pet tricks"). I rarely watched Conan--just don't like him for some reason. Never saw much of Kilborne either. I just wish I'd found Craig before late November! I just kept the TV on one night since I don't sleep well--and I switched back to CBS just as the LLS was coming on. I laughed harder than I have in a VERY long time! I was literally wiping tears of laughter from my face! :-D I was an immediate fan from the first show & haven't missed and WON'T miss any of Craig's shows from now on! I'm even looking forward to reruns! (Even if I've already seen them.) LOL I watch the show for Craig more than for any of his guests. I LOVE him reading emails, his improv monologue is hysterical, & his skits are funny. I also don't watch the show for the guests; I watch it for CRAIG! As others have said, he's handsome! And I adore Craig's Scottish accent! (I have some Scottish ancestry.) Now I'm renting his movies from Netflix--watched Saving Grace--funny movie! He is such a refreshing & truly funny addition to late-night shows! He's the best of them all in my book! I think his ratings will continue to go up & that this Scottish frisky pony (*cracking whip*), who is absolutely laugh-out-loud hilarious, will be around for a very long time! *grin* Way to go, Craig, you gorgeous Scotsman!

Not as bad as some people think--cute & fun
15 October 2005
Warning: Spoilers
Sure, this is pretty much a kids' movie, but it's still fun. I didn't care for the boy who starred as the Brody kid (they could've picked someone better), but I really liked the dog voices (Alec Baldwin, Tobey Maquire, etc.) & some of the cats too. Yes, it was an "animal" movie--I wasn't as interested in the humans at all--& their acting wasn't great (although I did like Sophie the Maid for some reason). But the movie did have some funny moments. As a dog lover I especially liked Lou (Tobey Maquire) & Butch (Alec Baldwin). As a Chihuahua lover, I would've loved to see at least one in the movie. Oh, well. Btw, the person who commented that the boy was drinking Hi-C was wrong. It was Capri Sun (but, yes, blatant advertising--uncalled-for). Still, I liked the movie. I thought it was cute & funny. Besides, I'm still pretty young at heart even though I'm past 40 (not immature, mind you! LOL). I gave it 8 out of 10, maybe a bit high, but so what? *grin* If a movie can give me at least half a dozen or so laughs, it's OK by me! LOL (Too bad so many people are SO serious & old-thinking--stay young at heart!) :)

Nature (1982– )
Deep Jungle is fascinating!!!
1 May 2005
Warning: Spoilers
The episodes "Deep Jungle" (at least 2 episodes of the same title--I'm going to watch the 2nd episode tonight). This is a fascinating & incredibly interesting documentary! Bit of a spoiler: I love seeing all the wonderful species I've never heard of...a chicken-eating spider! Wow! And I have arachnophobia! LOL Glad I don't live in Brazil! Or in South America! Whew. But it's all so incredibly interesting & David Watts is both interesting & funny in this! An unexpected bonus. :) If you haven't seen this, you're missing a great show! If you want to know more about the "deep jungle" you'll love this! :) So much fascinating information about the Amazon area...& to know that there are still SO MANY species that haven't been found...wow! This is far, very far, from a boring documentary...it's funny, interesting, educational...all the things that make this a great show...for students as well as teachers...for everyone! If you love to learn, you'll love this show! After seeing last week's episode, I could barely wait for this week's. :) Can you tell I love learning & nature? :) An excellent show! If I could vote on this (I wish I could) I would rate it a 10!
