The original X-Men was very character-driven, it focused heavily on the development of characters—and it had to. X-Men 2 built nicely on the mythos. X-Men 3 was free to let the holdovers from the first two films run amok even though the story felt a bit crowded. This film feels like a nice comp elation of all three. It gains an advantage because it's a well-tempered introduction of new characters mixed with the perfect focus on the character of Wolverine. The action sequences do indeed warrant serious praise. Origins doesn't exactly complicate the conventional black and white tropes of a good vs. evil but it doesn't need to. What results is one extremely satisfying thrill ride!

We Are Marshall is a truly inspirational story that transcends sport and illustrates how cruel life can be at times and the perseverance needed to move through those difficult times. Remarkably well done, although the movie itself does lay on the clichés quite thick. Regardless, this film easily makes my top ten movies of the year list. Besides being an inspirational story, the football aspect of the film is very real and extremely believable. It's a credit to the film makers that they not only captured the spirit but captured the exact feel of the 1970s as well.

Everyone with a family or anyone that just loves the game of football should see this movie. A+

The uneasy feeling you get as we bond with his family but knowing that they will all die soon was masterfully done. The first act was packed with the groundwork for true emotion. The Punisher was well done! A movie that was worth the admission fee. This is an action fan's galore that kept you on the edge of your seat, while delivering a plot that didn't require 5 hours to get into. One of the best movie of 2004.

AMAZING! THIS MOVIE JUST KICKED BUTT!! One of the greatest action movies in a LONG time. Thomas Jane does a kick butt job, and Travolta is a pretty good psycho. So many cool parts in the movie, and the scene with the Russian guy is one of the best scenes I have seen in a LONG time. Great movie! 9.9/10
