A sober production from the director. he has the knack, the edge and the content without the craziness, intensity and shocks that his other movies delivered in the past.

It is still a good horror movie but after seeing dabbe 3, 4 and 5, this one doesn't have the same intensity of its predecessors. Hope the next one does what this one failed to. That said, am still a big fan of the director and the series and I liked this one too.

Very intense and quite scary with a nice premise. It is definitely a good addition to the Found-Footage genre. I loved this movie.

Good cast wasted away in a weak narrative. not thrilling enough, doesn't have that bang and fizzles out easily. While the build-up kept my attention, the second half was kinda boring that I had to speed through and the end was soooo predictable. imdb says my review is too short at this stage...what more should I write....I got nothing else to say.

Packing 4 times the punch, this movie is a revelation in the Genre.

120 minutes of most terrifying movie experience. Having seen 3 Dabbe movies, I thought I could manage watching this latest addition but I was wrong.

The world has taken note of Hasan's work and he is all set to make his mark in Hollywood. I love his style of film-making. He has proved in each of his movies that an excellent movie can be made out of a small budget, hand-held camera work could be as good as the others, good actors, script and direction are enough to make a good movie, and that there is so much to be explored in the Genre.

I wonder how he is able to sleep at nights. After watching Dabbe 4, I couldn't sleep for two weeks, whatever little sleep I could muster was filled with the most horrific nightmares(I am not sure if all of them are nightmares). I had to throw the "Evil Eye" charm (one of em was hung in the living room by my Aunt and she had received it as a gift from a friend who happens to live in Istanbul::how creepy is that!). I was scared to look in the mirror, scared of shadows and the darkness. I had to be counseled by a friend so that I could snap out of my fright and be normal.

Dabbe 3 and 4 are based on actual events. And the sounds of the Jinns we hear in the movie were retrieved from the original case files of the events. 7 out of 8 movies that he made are in the Horror Genre. I wonder whether he could sleep at all. And the kind of information he has about the world of the Devil and the Jinns is shockingly precise and intricate.

Dabbe 3 and 4 are the best Horror movies I've ever seen. I guess, only Hasan could best this record and I hope he makes more of them.

Rarely , a sequel would outshine the original and Dabbe 3 is a fine example of that.Much of the story and the surprises wouldn't be a surprise at all because the Audience would have a fair idea and knowledge to predict the plot and premise of the movie.

The Grudge, SAW, The Ring, Insidious and Paranormal Activity are examples. What if Paranormal Activity 2 or 3 had been the first movie of the series? Well, Hasan overcomes this pretty huge shortcoming and strikes with a bang with this 3rd movie.

And the fact that it is based on an actual event just freaked me out. My exposure to this dark world has grown since Dabbe 1.

Though a fan of the genre, who enjoys a good fright and watches lot of horror movies, I was squirming in terror throughout. I even yelped in fear.

It is a taut, horrifying and a SOLID horror movie. One of my all-time favorites. I watched it again over last weekend. I had to stop midway and watch the rest on the next day since I was terrified.

A must-watch if you are a fan of the Genre; It will be in your top 10 list!

The second movie in the series successfully moved to the next level and is no less scarier than the first. Weird, unique and strange; as the story weaved around, it sucked me into it and I didn't even move from the chair till the end. Hasan Karacadag is amazing. The movie is so potent and scary.

Nowhere did it resemble any horror movie that i've seen. But It was difficult to find proper subtitles for the movie. But when I did, I was so happy and couldn't wait anymore.

I am sure these movies would be cult classics in the future and more people would watch it irrespective the language.

I would give it 7/10.

I was exploring the Horror Genre and was looking for movies that could actually scare me and i stumbled upon Hasan Karacadag's movies. Started with Dabbe; it is quite disturbing and scary. Dabbe is such an intriguing word. I googled and understood that it is usually a creature or an animal, generally evil and brings destruction. Also it is associated with Apocalypse. Hasan has a unique way of execution that just leaves you in shock. The way he uses Turkish Mythology and combines it with contemporary concepts is just amazing.

This series has opened up a whole new world of horror which is specific to the religion and how it is dealt with. Now, i know what i shouldn't be messing around with and what i should stay away from.

These movies would make a huge feast for anyone who is a fan of the Genre.

And for Dabbe i would give 8/10
