Be Cool (2005)
A great actor with too many short scenes ...
Streetwise mobster-turned-movie producer Chili Palmer is back, but this time Chili has abandoned the fickle movie industry and veered into the music business, tangling with Russian mobsters and gangsta rappers and taking a talented, feisty young singer named Linda Moon under his wing. From the recording studio to an Aerosmith concert to the MTV Music Awards, he manipulates events to watch them play out the Chili way, using his signature blend of wiseguy skills and negotiation tactics. It's a dangerous business, and everyone's looking for their next big hit. Travolta is a great actor, but his great performances are scattered in small scenes along all the films he made, he should get them together and get a great film from start to end.

Strange and creepy villains...
I don't write for a paper, so I wont give you the plot or even try to summarize it, but I can tell you I didn't expect much from this movie before going into it since I read some of the critics about this movie. I did hear that it still had some style that made it stand out so I decided to check it out and I never regretted it. A very good action movie, with some of the best action scenes filmed yet here in taco-land. A good soundtrack , some funny lines that give the audience an honest laugh and There are also some good actor performances, Luis Felipe Tovar is an amazing actor, though he looks older and more serious than in his previous films Mauricio Ochmann can use some more experience and my absolute favorite is the Diputado. The production is great, considering the ridiculous budget they had compared to any Hollywood production (1.5 mill U.S.)but they pulled out interesting environments, like Chichi's place, the scene when the bad guy with the machine gun hanging from his shoulder opens the door and there is this barrel on fire inside the house looks creepy and you know something bad is about to happen, the villains are strange and creepy. For all, I can say that it was unfairly criticized by the press, but I guess it is easier for that people to do so instead of creating something as complex and well organized as any of the shootouts in this film.
