This movie looks pretty underrated to me.... Maybe that's because I lived with anxiety most my life and know the feeling, and how it can be an eternal stalker. And quite simply, this movie is about that. About wanting to get read of something that looks colossal and out of control, but at the same time, something that can be controlled, but then it's not, and people outside, even "an alien", can't deal with it, or understand it. You have to feel it, and know you're no going to die. It takes years. Maybe a lifetime. See past the obvious... This movie is not about an invasion, it's about being invaded your whole life.

What happens when you sit through an entire movie, hopping, praying (pun intended), that it's a metaphor and will have some plausible explanation in the end, but it's just a terrible "a la fox movies" movie?

This series could definitely be a silent hill game, and I'm pretty sure inspiration was drawn from it. A slow burn, with lots of talks, conversations and plot twists. It's promising, and a hell of a ride.

This movie starts out promising, but from "save the last dance" to "black swan", it will remind you of all those scenes, some so alike it's not even funny. The cast is bland, the acting is bland, there are no great dance scenes as they are almost poorly filmed or cut. The end kinda saves it, and so does the contrived friendship between the two main portagonists, but that's about it. Watchable.
