Editing and music take viewers on a wild ride
Hop in baby; let's ride. The keen video editing of this satirical film noir speeds the viewer through a road trip filled with detours. An itinerant group of criminals encounter a few wrong turns and bumps in the road that stall their voyage to Vegas to bomb a casino. You'll want to hit the breaks, dreading the characters chicanery moves. The tight music helps tell the story of a coterie-of-criminals that skid out of control as they unwittingly traduce each other tearing up the highway (and a road map) along the way. You'll grip your seat as the characters innocently make ordinary decisions that end up exacerbating their lives. The tergiversation of the story leaves the viewer on a dark and lonely road wondering what direction to take.
