One Time Watch For Sure
10 October 2023
Definitely not the best from Hrishida, but still there are few elements that makes it a one time watch for sure. Basic storyline, the theme of the movie is good. Screenplay is scattered. But some very powerfull performances by Sanjeev Kumar, Dr Shriram Lagoo, Omshivpuri and Raaj Babbbar. And ofcourse 2 awesome tracks by R D BURMAN and Kishore Kumar. One is Bahot Door Hoke Bahot Pass Ho Tum and other is Aye Zindagi Hui Kaha bhool. Overall if you are used to watching old Hindi films then you will not be bored by this one for the first time. Technically I think it is better than Hrishida's older films. Don't judge it's quality by You Tube. I had seen this movie on some TV channel some 10-15 years back. And it was in a very good quality.

Bachhan All The Way
2 June 2023
Oh my god. I was reading some of the reviews and thought if these people should just go out and direct the movies..😜. Anyways .. Paa- a good entertaining light hearted movie, which make you laugh and cry. Half an hour short, and this would have been a much mucn better movie. But Still R Balki deserves a credit for daring such an attempt and doing good with it. Vidya and Abhishek support tjhe film with their superb acting abilities. But its the BACHCHAN that lingers in your mind even after you reach home after watching the movie. What a transformation. And main thing is...his entire life he is know for his barritone voice, tall and dominating personality...and even then you just could find Bachchan in it but Auro. Thats the greatness of a man. Had it been a Hollywood movie...our Indian audience would have praised it like anything. But as Mr Bachchan is Indian, its taken granted and praised less...Thas a fact. What Hollywood does is only something extraoridinary for so called Intellectual Indian Audiences.

Not great but not bad either.
8 April 2023
Well despite the curiousity it created before release, it doesn't lives upto that. And its more subtle in terms of shock treatment you see in other horror films like Conjuring. Also it runs on a very thin storyline, and quit funny towards the end, the reasoning of all that is happening is quit funny and flimsy. I expected something on the lines of The Exorcism Of Emily Rose. But it isn't. That movie was a marvel. It is not a BAD movie, but it doesnt leave any impact on you, once you leave the theatre. You forget it immediatly. But you can watch whats happening on screen if you are in theatre. So go watch it if you have enough free time, or leave it if you don't.

Dull, Lenthy, Boring
15 February 2023
Warning: Spoilers
Had expected too much from this one after watching the trailer. But its so dull n lenthy and quit abrupt. And it skips the most important part of her life. Her journey before coming to modelling and acting. All it focuses on is her affaires and depression and her mental issues. I thing she was much more than that. Also the sudden changes in video from black and white to colour, and aspect ration from 4:3 to 16:9 was so irritating. What was the need of that? Please, can someone explain it to me? Please? The only good thing in it is Ana De Armas. But her make up as Marilyn was a bit artificial i would say. Everything else is forgettable. I was hugely disappointed.

Suraj Barjatya and Bachchan at their best.
15 November 2022
Well, in one word the movie is a HEALING THERAPY. Of you are in stress, or bored or in an agony, this one is your treatment. You will get the feel of GOOD OLD HINDI CINEMA (without over the top melodrama) which was lost in recent times due to western influences and due to the arrival of THE REALISTIC cinema made by some so called INTELLEGENT FILMAKERS. What can I say about Mr Bachchan and Mr Kher? They have done so much over the years that you dont find new words do describe their genius. And Mr Bachhan. Gosh. Since 53 years this man is mesmerising audiences. Here he steals the show from everyone in LAST HALF AN HOUR.

WORTH A WATCH. SHOULDN'T BE MISSED.
8 October 2020
Movie was ahead of its time. RGV has dared to show Mr Bachchan this way, against his larger than life image. Treat to watch Mr Bachchan and Revathy together. They are both show stealers. Jiah is okkkey. ROZANA song is fabulous. Sung exceptionaly well by Mr Bachchan.

Its BACHCHAN all the way...
12 June 2020
Shoojit Sirkar brings querky sattire of lives of the people leaving on the edge, leaving their lives in a Haveli's shell. And thats what makes them who they are. Their worlds are shaken when THE OUTSIDER enter with their own AGENDAS... AND WHAT IS LEFT IN THE IS THER TO WATCH. Its a daring attempt by Shoojit Sirkar. Superbly writtern by JUHI CHATURVEDI, and present through the creative eye of Avik Mukhpadhyay. Of the actors, no need to say, Amitabh Bachchan walks away with all the glory. The way he walks, talks, looks...everything he doeals is splendid. Not for a second you think its Amitabh Bachchan. Ayushman comparitvely has less to do. His character is of his age, and normal. Vijay Raaj is excellent as usual. But I have my doubts if the film would have been a succesa if it had a theatre release. It does not go with the TASTE of Indian Audiences. But thank you SHOJIT SIRKAR for making this wonderful film and show Mr Bachchan so differently.

Good But Not Great. Overrated.
9 May 2020
Warning: Spoilers
As the various stories started to unfold, it was all very exciting. A man with whom a wife is having sex when her husband is out, dies... A boy finds out that his mother is a porn film actress, an excited wife is excited as her disappeared husband is coming back, only to know he has changed his sex, a transgender... At this point all seemed so interesting...and you think you will see the conflicts in relationships...but then the stories scatter..the police station and hospital sequences are to loud dramatic...slowely they go to the typical lurid south indian films. Also the set designing is very loud. The colours or shabbyness...whatever SYMBOLISM lied in it was irritating to the eyes. Some heavy camerawork also comes in the way of story narration. So as you start ro see you are going to see something extraordinary...it starts to become a bit predictable. But yet, its not a bad movie. A daring and bold attempt I must say... Just that intialy it raised so much expectation and didn't live upto it for me atleast.

Nice Series but stretched too far
27 July 2019
Its a good series... Edgy, slick, full of twists and turns...All actors are good except Ursula Corbero. She is loud n artificial. Alba Flores should have been the main actress...She is fantastic. So is Alvaro Morte.

Amitabh, Amitabh and Amitabh
29 June 2019
If you are Amitabh Bachchan Fan, you cann't miss this one. And the way he has acted, makes it even more watchable. Story n screenplay are week, but Puri Jaggannath has shot it very stylishly. Other cast fit their roles. But this movie is AMITABH BACHCHAN SHOW.

If you haven't watched DEAD AND ME on Netflix, then you are missing a great deal. It takes you with it, till you finish it. Somehow it reminded me of a wonderful movie THREE BILLBOARDS OUTSIDE EBBING, MISSOURI(2017). Both tell the tales of the lives of people who unexpectdely loose someone close to them. How their lives change after that, while they try to deal with the trauma and try to overcome it. Dont want to go into thE deatils as I want it SPOILER FREE REVIEW.

Gripping...
8 March 2019
Another Gripping thriller by the Master Sujoy ghosh...He keeps you glued to the chair till the end.... Dont want to reveal the plot. Mr Bachchan as always is what you take out with you to your home...Thank god Amrita Singh got such a imporatant and good role. She excels in every frame. Tapsee is okkey dokkey..speaks and acts the same as in Pink and Manmarziya as if she is playing the same role. She is supposed to be very very tense throught the conversation with Mr bachchan till interval... But she is flat...rest of the cast is not even worth a mention....
