Blue Bloods: Past is Present (2024)
What an eye opener!
This has been my show from the beginning. Mostly because I'm a Tom Selleck fan. But the quality of the cast turned out to be equally up to the task. The show content has usually been riveting with good stories for Danny, Jamie, Erin, Frank, Henry or Joe but this one far exceeds the norm with opportunities for all the main characters to shine! I know this is the last season but it looks like the writers are out to kick ass for this last season. I can't wait to see what they come up with in the next few weeks. If this episode is any indication, we are all in for the ride of our lives! Don't miss this one. You won't be sorry.
Blue Bloods: Moonlighting (2011)
Funniest Dinner scene ever!
This episode closes with the family dinner where Jamie shows up with a broken nose and two black eyes from his beating by Johnny Tesla. Jack questions him about it and finds out that this isn't the first time Jamie has swallowed some sort of item. This time it's the thumb drive with the Sandinista client list. According to the rest of the family, Jamie had a habit of swallowing items he wanted to hide ie Danny's dime collection, the key to the liquor cabinet, Erin's communion locket and mom's pearl earrings! The humor and laughter, along with the personal comments of the actors, is so genuine and authentic that you know the actors must have had a hilarious time filming this scene. Absolutely hysterical!
Rescued by Ruby (2022)
A great "feel good" film!
Just pick up Netflix and found this little gem of a film. I love Grant Gustin and I'm a sucker for dog stories so this was a winner for me! Watched it all the way through and thoroughly enjoyed it! But then I saw it was a movie based on a real story about K9 officer Bill Boudroux, I was intrigued! Then watching North Woods Law on Animal Planet, Officer Bill Boudroux and Ruby were featured in a short clip and I recognized them! Although the dog used in the film was adorable, I wish they had used the same breed. But all in all, this film shows that we all may be a little flawed but there is a higher purpose for us all, even a dyslexic man and his out of control dog! You just have to dig a little deeper to find it! A charming, enjoyable film!
