Ragnarok (2020)
Great series, horrible ending.
First two seasons were absolute bomb and I was reaaaally looking forward to seeing how it would all go down. Until the last episode, that is. The ending was extreeeeemely disappointing and the writers have made a huge mistake ending the show like this. They have done brilliantly the first two seasons and even the majority of season 3. I do not understand what made them write the ending like this? Lack of budget for effects? Idk... This series wss fully ruined for me, sadly.
Ragnarok is a great series to watch because it is mostly truthful towards Norse mythology in its own adaptation, truely sad to have ended like this.
Love, Victor (2020)
As a gay guy; this was beautiful.
Well, I'm not gonna lie... Love, Victor romanticises everything about being troubled with your own identity and it gives a classic 'high school feel good' vibe to the whole situation, also to the coming out.
Love, Victor is overly stereotypical and filled with good vibes that makes you feel butterflies for both Benji and Victor at the same time... But that's exactly why this series is just soooo good. I am normally not into 'High School Romance' series or films, but this one just hit the spot.
As a gay dude that came out around the age of 16, this series made me feel so many things, and somehow gave me closure on my own youth and the exact same trouble I had discovering who I was at the time.
I know there's a lot going on in the world, but if you just want to zone out for a while and feel good, and overall just sit in your sofa binge some popcorn or nachos, to then feel completely energised because of a TV-series, Love, Victor is going to be right up your alley!
Bryan.
Slender Man (2018)
Boring.
To be honest, I have tried to watch it about 3 times, but every single time I lost my attention after like 20 minutes and end up stopping the movie about halfway. It just fails to grasp and keep my attention. Boring allround...
Eurovision Song Contest: The Story of Fire Saga (2020)
The essence of a 'feel good' movie.
If you're looking for some brainless feel good content, this movie is the way to go! Not only is it produced by Netflix, which stands for a good production quality, the music used is also stupidly fun and accurate for Eurovision. The movie has a lot of cameos of pretty big celebs, including Demi Lovato. If you enjoy Eurovision, this movie will be a first class treat for you.
