Timber Creek Lodge (2016)
Spoiled by spoilt brats
Not so much a chef, more like a slop jockey one can only celebrate the fact they can avoid this kitchen clown. Her buddy, the egotistical fool skier that laughingly calls himself a departmental leader combine together to spoil what might otherwise be a great show. Spoilt, nasty children with no respect for the guests.
Madam Secretary (2014)
Gradually descends into a politically biased campaigning platform
I thought the first two seasons of the show were reasonably good but fiction is fiction and it is important that Hollywood remembers they occupy a platform only because we, the viewers, provide it. By Season 5 the show has become unashamedly politically biased toward the Democrat Party.
If we are to be subjected to 'teachable moments' and the morals of why the Democrat Party have better foreign policy than their counterparts in government then shows like this should be accompanied by a warning in the same way violence, foul language and sexually explicit content is forewarned.
It is morally reprehensible that Hollywood believes having our attention automatically entitles them to influence our thinking and thrust their ill conceived worldview on an unsuspecting audience.
I am tired of watching fictional shows that purport to understand 'climate change' or 'gender politics' simply because they hauled in a few consultants from the left wing of the political hemisphere. Personal messaging of worldview from ultra rich people who have a skill to pretend to be something they are not must be pushed back.
If you are moderately conservative then this show is unwatchable.
