You Belong Where You Wanna Belong
5 May 2024
This short film explores the concept of friendship. Of course, racism continues to be an issue. I appreciated the acting. Regardless, the film takes place in one or two locations. It is about a friend's kindness towards another friend. Even though it is a short film, I believe it covers the subject very well in 12 minutes. It appeals to me. Furthermore, the phrase "You belong wherever you want to belong" was very nice. The ending of the film was also excellent. Full of hope. While watching the film, I expected a bad ending, but it ended well and with hope. I had some difficulty understanding them because they had a northern English accent. The music in the film was also decent, despite the fact that I dislike rap music.

The Deepfake Men

They had been showing trailers in theaters for several months. It caught my attention. David Leitch makes good action films. This film is just as entertaining as I expected. I also enjoyed the action scenes. The acting was also quite good. While reading about the film, I saw the expected sentence: "A love letter to stuntmen." I agree. Stuntmen work in extremely dangerous situations for very little pay. Anyway, the film is entertaining, action-packed, and occasionally funny. The music selection was excellent. It was really good. To be honest, I was bored in some scenes, but overall I thought the film was very entertaining.

Birdemic I : Attack of the Birds
21 April 2024
I do not know how to respond. This "movie" is worse than bad Hollywood films. Even "Sharknado" was better than this. The acting is terrible, so are the sounds, the script, the dialogue, and the effects. The movie used a gif of a bird flapping its wings. Bird sounds are deafening and terrifying. The directing job is terrible. It made me realize how important a sound engineer's job is. Honestly, I did not have much fun. In other words, these types of films become cult favorites and are viewed in droves as if they were comedies. This was one of those movies. I felt sorry for both the director and the actors. Perhaps they have come to accept their notoriety. Anyway, it is awful. The movie is full of nonsense.

Ballerina Vampire
20 April 2024
Warning: Spoilers
The movie's trailer piqued my interest. But I wish they had not revealed that the girl was a vampire in the trailer. Perhaps they did this to sell the film. I recently learned that the film is a reboot of "Dracula's Daughter." I liked the movie. All of the characters were interesting. Even the quiet scenes with dialogue were engaging and interesting. First and foremost, I enjoyed all of the acting. They were really good. Alisha Weir was amazing. I watched with my mouth open. I was going to give the movie 7 points, but instead gave it 6. Because the film was incredibly predictable. First and foremost, I had no idea the film would be a reboot, but I could predict how it would end at the start. It was a little obvious. Jump scare scenes were used. I wish it hadn't been used. The movie was also good technically. It was a fun movie for me. I had a lot of fun in the cinema.

Titanic II
14 April 2024
First and foremost, the poster for this short film caught my attention. He resembled one of the crew members from the film "Titanic." I started watching movies and discovered that it is. The film is about Frederick Fleet. One of the Titanic's crew members survived. He is also the first person to notice and report the iceberg. Even as he grew older, he suffered from depression as a result of the traumatic events in his life. Even though the film was almost 7 minutes long, it was enjoyable, with excellent cinematography, sound design, and music. The director's work was also impressive. Despite its brief length, the film successfully conveys its message.

The Problematics
14 April 2024
I really enjoyed this film. I didn't know Alexander Payne. . I appreciated the director's work. He did an excellent job. David Hemingson also excelled as a writer. Eigil Bryld did an excellent job with cinematography. For a moment, I thought the film was old. It was shot very well. It does not look digital at all. The cinematography was very good. Even though the film contains some humorous elements, it is primarily a drama film. Paul Giamatti may have given his best acting performance yet. Dominic Sessa is excellent, even though this is his first job. If he works with the right people and on the right projects, he will have a successful career. Da'Vine Joy Randolph performed well. She won an Academy Award. But I am not sure how much she deserved it. I wasn't impressed. Anyway, to me, it looks like a 70s Hollywood movie with a 70s style (it takes place in the 70s anyway). I'm impressed.

The Birth of Gamers
14 April 2024
It could have been much better. It was a documentary series with promise. However, not everything is explained in detail. I have never played Atari or Nintendo games from the 1970s or 1980s. I started by playing Sega. The Sonic game. Then Dendy. Then Playstation 1. Lastly, PC games. I used to play a lot of games, but I do not play as much anymore. I believe the documentary could have told many more stories. But they kept it brief and completed it quickly. Interviews with those who designed and coded the games were enjoyable. However, it was approached superficially. Moreover, Netflix has decided to be Netflix again. They also addressed issues of sexual identity and skin color for people who were unrelated to the documentary's subject matter. There were also new topics and information I learned from the documentary. That's why it's an okay documentary.

Meow Cat, Please Meow Back
12 April 2024
It was pretty cool. I like it. I really enjoyed the movie's opening scene. In the style of 1980s horror films. The songs chosen for the film are also fantastic. A short film with the feel of an 80s horror movie. Also, the movie did not feel like a short film to me. It felt like I was watching a feature film. I enjoyed it very much. The cat was also very adorable and, you know, bloody:). I liked Christopher Jopp's directing style. However, he has not filmed anything since 2017. I hope he produces a good horror film. I believe he can accomplish it. The original music was titled FANGG. However, I could not find any information. I enjoyed the music. But I could not find out who FANGG was.

Wakanda Forever !
12 April 2024
Despite the lack of interest in the story, the image, sound, and atmosphere were all very interesting and beautiful. To be honest, the name of the movie piqued my interest. Because in my home country, there is a network of markets known as "OBA." I smiled when I saw the title of the film. I watched it, and it was a very mystical and interesting film. Even though it was brief, I enjoyed it. The sound and effects in the film were also very good. The sound of a talking drum (dondo) is both interesting and strange. I enjoy the sound of this instrument. I believe it sounds like a human voice. The costumes were also very nice. It reminded me of the Wakanda scenes from the film "Black Panther." But it's more mystical in this movie.

Kung Fu Fox
12 April 2024
I really enjoy the animated series "Kung Fu Panda." I also watched the fourth film. To be honest, I believe this is the weakest movie in the series. Yes, they reduced their budget, but the animation quality is outstanding. Jack Black is a wonderful person, and his performance in this film was equally impressive. The Super 5 kung fu masters do not appear (as a cameo) in the film, so there is no voice acting. The Chameleon character is not bad, but she is weak compared to other villains. I didn't like her motivation very much either. I would like to see more Tai Lung scenes. Zhen was not a bad character, but it was voiced by Awkwafina. That is why I was annoyed by this character. Also, I didn't like the dragon warrior chosen in the finale at all, and it wasn't the right choice. There will be two more new movies. I hope they make better decisions on those two movies.

The Principles of Nonpleasure
11 April 2024
It seemed like an interesting documentary. It was clear from the first 10 minutes what kind of documentary it would be. Far from science. Far from fun. This "documentary" gives a lot of misinformation. There were 3-4 interesting pieces of information in a 3-episodes, almost 3-hour documentary. All the rest is garbage. This is not sincere at all. If you want to shoot a documentary, shoot it with a scientific approach. I watched a few documentaries of this type on Netflix. Too bad. They tried to make an entertaining "documentary," but it's not even entertaining. It's so boring and bad. Not good.

Walking Fish

I believe Korea is very similar to our country (Azerbaijan, Turkey). Koreans are also strikingly similar to my own country. It is somewhat true. The family in this film resembles a Turkish-Azerbaijani family. This is a creature film, but underneath it is a serious family drama. Our director, Bong Joon Ho, is already well-known and considered one of the best directors. He even got an Oscar. This film includes criticism of the Korean government, Korean citizens, and civil servants. South Korea's pro-US policy has also received criticism. This film also included elements from my own country. That is why the film is harsh yet sincere. The acting was very good. Yes, the acting in Korean films may appear to be poor due to cultural differences, but this is not the case. Especially the father, Byun Hee-Bong, gave an outstanding performance. The creature's design was interesting. It's also disgusting. I likened the mouth part to the "Predator" creature. When I saw the creature for the first time, I said out loud the line that the character Dutch said in the movie "Predator" when he saw it without a mask for the first time: Anyway, I liked this movie.

The Invisible Man
10 April 2024
The atmosphere of the movie was very good. It deals with the subject of not seeing and blindness very well. I also liked his work as a director. The script was good, but there were some scenes and events that were meaningless and unnecessary. Sisters being twins, husband's affair, etc. I won't write them all. This movie had very good potential. It could have been very good, but it became very weak towards the end. I liked the acting, as well as the atmosphere and tension. I liked the performances of Belén Rueda, Lluís Homar, and especially Pablo Derqui. There was a Japanese movie where a girl had an eye transplant and could see ghosts with her new eyes. I thought it would be a movie in that style, but at first, I forgot that it was a Spanish movie. I watched a few Spanish thriller, crime, and murder movies, and they were all very good. The director of those films also contributed to the script here. Finally, an average but good movie. It could have been much better.

Fight, Monsters, Fight !
10 April 2024
It was fun to watch in the cinema. I thought the CGI was cool and good. I slept a little during part of the movie because probably I was so tired :) I think the movie does what is expected. Monster battle is also satisfying for those who want to watch the monster fight. Again, the people in this movie are boring. The acting wasn't bad. There will probably be a sequels of this series. It attracts my attention; it is fun and enjoyable to watch in the cinema. It was also enjoyable to watch because the CGI was good. Godzilla sleeping in Colosseum reminded me of my cat wanting to sleep wherever he wanted and made me laugh. King Kong was very cool. But Godzilla was much cooler.

Never Play With God
31 March 2024
I am not particularly interested in productions that become popular quickly. I usually wait a little while and then watch. I watched a few productions without having to wait long. This is one of them. First of all, I liked the series very much. I added the book to my list because I was curious about it, and I plan to buy and read it soon. I would also like to watch the Chinese television series. Of course, since it is a Netflix production, a lot has changed. I did a little research, and I believe it was well adapted. The mystery is solved by the second or third episode, at least according to me, but the series was generally enjoyable with the exception of a few episodes. The acting was not bad; I liked it. The script was adequate, and the director's work was good. The visual effects were sometimes good, sometimes bad, but never terrible. Overall, I really enjoyed this series. Also, I thought the "Never play with God" joke was a great metaphor.

Lots of Spiders
30 March 2024
Not bad, but what was the point? What is said is fine, but the animation is unnecessary. I enjoyed watching it, and the horror scenes were particularly good. I did not like the song at the end of the film. The animation style was excellent, as always. It seems like it was rushed. Miles Morales suffers from anxiety disorder. I am not sure if what he is experiencing is sleep paralysis. If so, I believe it was a fine. As someone who has experienced sleep paralysis, I found his narrative style appealing. But I still believe it is an unnecessary subject for a 7-minute short film. Maybe if it was a 15-20 minute short film, but it seemed unnecessary for a 7-minute short film. Even though it was not bad and was enjoyable to watch, I thought it was unnecessary. Sorry.

Fantastic Side of Captain Sir John Franklin's Lost Expedition
26 March 2024
The first season of the series is very good. I had no idea it was inspired by an actual event. I did some research about it. It is a very mysterious and intriguing subject. Knowing that the ships and crew were real people made the series even more interesting. Adapted from a novel. Of course, mystical and fantastical elements were included. This is not bad. The series is not easy to watch. I watched the first season of the series. I didn't watch the second season. Yet. However, it has nothing to do with the first season. They collaborated with different producers, scriptwriters, and so on. They made an anthology series. This is a bad idea. They should have created a separate series. Here, the name of the directory is the same as the name of the ship. But I don't know what the second season is about yet. It didn't interest me. The acting in the first season was amazing. They were all amazing. The locations, costumes, and make-up were very good. Some visual effects were weak, but not too bad. Overall, I liked the first season of this series. I wish it had stayed as a one-season series.

The Adventure of Turkish Food
20 March 2024
Aside from being a documentary about food, particularly its production, it is also very entertaining. The voice acting by Yekta Kopan was also quite entertaining. TRT launched a new platform, but I will no longer be able to watch new episodes there. I hope that there will be more to come. Turkish products are widely consumed in my home country, and they are regarded as of high quality. Their production adventure demonstrates why they are of high quality. This documentary had a few episodes on IMDB; I created all of the seasons and episodes, as well as the posters, using AI tools, and I think it turned out well. I am hoping that the new episodes to this documentary will be shot and released on the Tabii platform.

Poor Watchers
11 March 2024
I tried to like this film, but I just couldn't. Is this a bad movie? No! Is this a good film? No, (in my opinion)! The concept and subject of the film are excellent. It's already a book adaptation. However, I disliked the film's direction. The movie is disturbing. The production design, effects, cinematography, and acting were excellent. I am not sure what Lanthimos intended to do, but it turned out to be a popular film. First of all, the acting was strange. Emma Stone was excellent; she has already won the "Best Actress" Oscar. Willem Defoe was also good. I could not tell whether Mark Ruffalo was good or bad, but I would never seen him in such a role. It was unusual and brave. At the end, a unique, strange, and disturbing film was created. I did not enjoy it, but I do not think it is a bad film. I also believe that it is exaggerated.

Ashes To Ashes, Dust To Dust
8 March 2024
"I think it was a great TV series with an interesting subject. Unlike many recent portrayals of Iceland as a green and perfect place, this series showed the aftermath of a volcano explosion, where everything was ash and gray. The series had a coldness to it which is typical of Scandinavian productions. Despite the characters' calm and cool reactions to the event, the plot and execution of the series were well done. It may not have been as exciting as shows like "Dark" or "Stranger Things," but it was still a good 8-episode mini-series. The ending was satisfactory, and I appreciated how the series handled the subject of ash and volcanoes. The cinematography, sound design, effects, acting, and editing were all well done. Overall, it's a good series, and I hope there won't be a second season because it ended perfectly."

Very Spicy
2 March 2024
It was an epic movie. I am one of those who did not read the book. I was hesitant while watching the first movie, but I watched it anyway, and I was very impressed. But according to what I read, they made half of the first movie into a movie. I was excited for the second movie. I watched it in the cinema yesterday and liked it very much. Of course, I was expecting more epic movies. But still, it was not a disappointment. Everything was fine in the movie. Directing, cinematography, acting, music, editing, effects-everything was very good and worked meticulously. It seems that great importance was given to the sound editing of the film. Hans Zimmer wasn't bad, though. I don't like Timothée Chalamet very much in terms of acting, but he was very good in this movie. Everyone was very good. In fact, Zendaya was the weakest among them. But she was good, too. I was expecting the final battle scene to be more epic, but it was still very okay. Everyone in the cinema was watching with their mouths open. It was so epic. I like it.

Unfunny Way To Puerperium
23 February 2024
I had no idea I would watch this movie. I have not watched Turkish comedy films in a long time. For whatever reason, I wanted to watch it with my girlfriend. Maybe it is a funny movie, or it is just for fun. The movie is extremely bad. I only laughed at a few parts of it. There are some nice references, but the work is not particularly good. I did not like the acting either. Gupse Ozay was not bad, but the movie was very boring and progressed very slowly compared to a comedy movie. The horror sequences were the most entertaining part of the film for me. Those scenes were ok. I didn't like the ending of the movie at all. Overall, it was a very boring and below-average movie. It was possible to have fun, but it was still boring. Also, the course is not very good.

3rd Game
22 February 2024
The "Tekken" has always been special game for me. I played a lot on Playstation 1,2 and 3 when I was a kid. I had my favorite characters. I was playing with my brother most of the time. Even though everyone loved "Mortal Kombat", I was always a fan of "Tekken". I thought the characters and story were better and more interesting. I think this short anime series (made by Netflix) should have been longer. Not bad. I watched with curiosity. They reflected the fighting style of the characters. I think it was better that it was an anime. As for the movie, there was already a bad movie, I watched it and didn't like it at all. But this series is not bad. I think it should have been longer. Yes, this is the story of the 3rd game. But then, as a second season, the story of the first game could have continued with the 3rd and then the 4th. From this perspective, it was disappointing, but it was still fun to watch. I wish there would be more episodes.

Father of Anatolian Rock
11 February 2024
Frankly, as a metalhead and music lover, I have rarely listened to Anatolian rock. One of these rock legends is Cem Karaca. I remember Cem Karaca as he is a very cool and good voiced singer. I liked the movie and enjoyed it. It was a movie that was sometimes funny, sometimes serious, and sometimes dramatic. After reading about Cem Karaca after the movie, I learned that many things were not explained. Is this bad ? Of course. Cem Karaca grew up in an artist family. Moreover, they were not poor. That's why I appreciated that it wasn't explained since childhood. I also found it successful in terms of costumes, make-up and locations. The acting was also very good. I think the actors who played Cem Karaca's wives did not do a good job. Although Fikret Kuskan and Yasemin Yalçin overacted a little, they were generally very good. Ismail Hacioglu acted really well. He did a very successful performance, whether in terms of voice, speaking style or singing. He sang the songs of the movie himself, bravo! Finally, although I was a little annoyed that it didn't explain many things, it was still not a bad movie. At least we listened to Cem Karaca songs. Ismail Hacioglu's work was really good.

Fulldome Documentary
11 February 2024
Let me put it this way... It's a short 30-minute documentary. I don't like the concept of short documentaries. I don't think a short documentary is a good thing or idea. 30 minutes is too little for a documentary subject.

I went to the fulldome cinema for the first time. I watched this documentary at Tusi Bohm Planetiraum in Park Bulvar Mall in Baku. As a planetarium, I liked it. It was good experience. But documentary-wise it was too short. The plot was progressing well, but it ended suddenly. For this reason, there is much to tell about this subject. Also the documentary of the year 2011. Even so, the effects are not very good. At that time, the effects were generally not good. Frankly, I would like to watch a longer version documentary on this subject.
