I have read most user comments for this movie and I can't believe the great reviews. Many of the recent movies I have watched have user ratings of less than 6 and they were much better than Reign Over Me. Adam Sandler's acting is not very good and actually what type of acting does he really do??? I watched it a couple of days ago and I still don't see any point to the movie. Basically it was a two hour waste of time. That made a 2 hour movie in what could have been done in 15 minutes. My favorite worst scene of the movie was the end when Don Cheadle rides off on the scooter! Is anyone really naive enough to believe that after pulling a gun on the cops that he would be back on the street that fast. He would have been blown away or in a mental hospital for years. That is 3.75 that I could have flushed and felt better about!

I took my daughter 5 and son 8 to see Aquamarine yesterday after school. I didn't go in expecting to see an Oscar worthy movie as many who rated this movie must have. Both of my kids really enjoyed the movie and I did as well. I thought the plot was good and the acting was pretty good as well. I liked the magical feel that this movie had and at least it lets kids use their imagination instead of just the same old boring stuff. How Aquamarine could ever have a lower user rating than Ultraviolet is a crime against humanity. I am glad that several of the user comments that I have read appreciate this movie for what it is, a movie for your kids and that the parents will enjoy also.

I went with a friend to see this movie and didn't expect very much. I have to say that I was actually shocked at how good it was. The acting was very great but the bloody deaths more than made up for it. The scenes where the people got killed were some of the goriest that I have seen. Also I went to see this without seeing the first 2 in the trilogy. This weekend I am planning to watch the first two movies and I am hoping that they are the same way that this movie was. Hopefully I will not be disappointed. I was really impressed with this flick! If more filmmakers would get back to just showing the audience some good gore then they wouldn't have to rely on special effects so much.
